The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

This movie delivers everything you expect it to deliver from the previews. Shahid is adorable and wonderful. Sonakshi is wonderful and beautiful and fierce. And Sonu Sood is a) incredibly handsome and b) too handsome and beautifully handsome to be the evil villain he plays. He does a great job, but his handsomeness was a bit distracting for me.Dancing: This movie is written, directed and choreographed by Prabhu Deva, so the dancing is amazing and technical. If you are a dancer, watch this movie. Seriously. Some of the stuff Shahid was doing is nothing short of amazing and of course Prabhu has a cameo in one of the songs (Gandi Beat). It was nice to see that Prabhu is capable of dialing it back when he needs to as the "we both just realized we are in love fantasy dance sequence" was low key, and beautiful without all the complex technical moves of the other numbers.Action: Speaking of choreography, this is an action flick. And some of the fight sequences are beautifully choreographed as well. Most of them are jump cut so the flow doesn't allow you to see extended sequences and they could very easily just film individual action shots and cut them together. But there is a fight scene in the middle of the movie where Shahid is fighting 60 guys, and we get a long sequence of uncut moves that are really well done. The final battle between Shahid and Sonu is in sepia tone – to give it more gravitas. It's hokey. They may have chosen that to hide flaws in Shahid's make up because at this point his character had been stabbed twice, beat up and buried alive before heading into the final battle, so... he had a lot of fake blood on him and it might not have looked right in regular color. The battle itself reminded me a bit of the final battle in the 3rd Musashi movie except without the swords. They rush at each other. Fight a bit. Rush at each other and eventually, Shahid, after nearly dying 3 times in the battle manages to land a punch to the throat and they just stand there. For a long while. And no – I'm not giving anything away – obviously Shahid was going to win this battle – duh. Anyway, I thought it was a nice touch and used the main elements that everyone remembers from the final Musashi battle well.Technical Details: As for what I didn't really like. Some of the editing was really odd and distracting. One of the first expository scenes is jump cut with odd angles of the faces talking, ending with extreme close ups. I found it distracting and annoying, especially since I was trying to read subtitles. The other odd choice was a jiggling earthquake effect on the film at a pivotal moment. It was distracting and didn't really add to the scene. Those were the only two moments where this was done. The rest of the movie was well done. The love story was OK – I have mixed feelings about the first half since it involved Shahid stalking Sonakshi and having been a victim of a stalking, it didn't sit well with me. I don't normally get that sort of reaction from other movies where this "following" happens. Normally, I think – ahhh. But I did react badly here so I think they missed the mark. My conclusion: If you like rough action masala – this movie is great. If you like amazing dancing. This movie is really great. Love story? Meh. Really handsome actor – Oh YEAH! Sonu!!!! Music – fun. Worth seeing? Probably.

This movie doesn't give us anything that we haven't seen a million times before. A hero that can give Superman a run for the money, who don't care for any rules, and is willing to do anything for his love. The matching of Sahid and Sonakshi in this movie is just wrong. No real chemistry between those two. The songs are barely above average. Overall a mindless time filler. But what else to expect from Pravudeva. He's been recycling materials from south and found a niche following in Bollywood. He's obviously very impressed with Sonakshi as he's been signing her for a lot of his projects. Problem with his movie is that those bits have been done by others before him long before. So watching a movie where the hero breaks the laws of physics gets old real quick. Sahid just don't fit into this kind of role, something that Salman and Akshay have been doing for a while.

Seriously, what's wrong with them??!! Hello CRITICS, We love movies which we enjoy! we, AM JANATA, don't care about what is out of the text book in a movie, we only care about what works! AND THIS FILM RIGHT HERE FREAKIN... WORKSS!!! when are you guys gonna start reviewing a film from our point of view and stop misleading us?! Shame on you! There are people doing hard work for years to make a God damn film and you guys don't even hesitate to stab it on it's back mercilessly!Okay, first of all, this is my first review in IMDb. I mostly come in here to see the reviews, watch the trailers and all. But after reading the reviews from our fellow PHYSICS PROFESSORS for this one, I just had to tell people the truth about this awfully underrated movie.THIS IS A MIND BLOWING ENTERTAINER!!!It's funny and packed with action. Trust me! If you liked DABANGG,you'll love this one. This movie has every freaking element to make you fall in love with it. Honestly, even the lead actress had a strong reason to be in the movie,....unlike most of the recent bollywood outcomes where you wonder "what does she have to do with the film?"!Shahid is charming, and a real combination of ROMEO and RAJKUMAR. He is not my favorite but he was really funny. And the fights may be "full of errors" to the reviewers with PHD in Experimental Physics. But I just looved the extremeness of the punches and kicks as well as the extremeness of his LOVE. And Sonakshi!! Boy o boy, SHE IS JUST SO DAMN BEAUTIFUL!!! Her dialogue delivery is so strong, that in some parts you'll be forced to realize that she is the future BEST FEMALE ACTOR. her "PYAAR PYAAR YA MAAR MAAR" look is just..... (out of words). Sonu sood is strong, ripped. his acting is good.Underutilized, but still looked damn EVIL in parts. You guys already know how amazing the songs are.I love all of them. So don't trust the reviews where "THE SONGS ARE ALL RIGHT" line exists. So, bottom line is, NEVER rely on the reviews.Go and see for yourself. This MASALA movie is worth watching twice. IT ACTUALLY DESERVES A 8/10 as there are flaws. few minutes after the interval IS a tiiiny bit boring. The climax scene is BIOLOGICALLY impossible. But I gave it full on 10 because it got so much unfair beating from the critics, it deserves more love from us now.HATERS WILL HATE. GO WATCH IT. YOU"LL LOVE IT!!........................from one of those mango people who made RAJKUMAR reach the TOP 10 WEEKENDS of 2013.

R...Rajkumar is definitely one of the worst films of 2013. Everything about this film is wrong. The story is unappealing and the comedy is grossly overdone. You have a thug who constantly stalks the heroine and then challenges the villain that he'll be the one to remove the girl's sari and then take her to a honeymoon. Disgusting! I wonder if Prabhudeva was drunk when he made this film. Furthermore, the hero (or whatever) here acts more like a hoodlum. I know that he's made to play a hooligan but he totally lacks the virtue to win the girl. R...Rajkumar sticks out as crass, vulgar and sick. The song "Gaandi Baat" aptly describes the sick mentality of the hero. Shahid Kapur is an average actor and he is totally wasted in a cheap film like this. Sonakshi Sinha should START getting out of her 'desi girl' avatar. She is very bad in this movie and is getting type-casted in the 'village belle' type roles. Overall, nothing works for R...Rajkumar. It seems Prabhudeva was out of his mind when he was making this film. I would've loved to see his magic recreated after Rowdy Rathod. But I was seriously disappointed.I give it 3/10.
