Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Cathardincu Surprisingly incoherent and boring
SanEat A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Takethispunch A street-toughened orphan by the name of Munna (Aamir Khan) is befriended by some kind folks, whose effervescent daughter Mili (Urmila Matondkar) soon grows to be his best buddy. Both gravitate toward the Mumbai movie industry. While Mili finds occupation as a movie extra, Munna earns his livelihood selling movie tickets in the black market.Mili has ambitions of becoming an actress. Fortune glances her way, when she dances her way into a movie star's attentions. This actor, Raj Kamal (Jackie Shroff), arranges for her to be auditioned for the heroine's role in his upcoming movie called Rangeela. Mili's shortcomings amount to distractions, but thanks in no small way to Munna and Raj, she lands the role.
M Kumar The Plot idea of "Rangeela" is not original.. its Bollywood inspired by Bollywood itself.Any guesses ? Well Year -1970 Movie - Mere Humsafar.. only difference here is in the old movie the director played by non other but Balraj Sahini has his eye on the lady and woes to win her, make her career etc., while the poor village boy (Jeetendra) almost looses her to the film world & glamor..Plot very similar and identical..Incidentally there is another Aamir Khan movie again inspired by an old blockbuster movie of 1971 and that's Caravan again starring Jeetendra, and the movie is "Mela", but that attempt was a failure, as the Original was too good.
Sujit Mohanan Rangeela is one of the best Hindi films. Everything worked perfect for this film. Story, acting, direction, dialogues, music - all perfect. The film has a simple story about a girl and her dreams to make it big in the film industry. But, the way it has been executed by RGV is exceptional. Urmilla delivered great performance and looked her best. The comedy by Aamir Khan is incredible and makes you laugh even today. Hats off to the dialogues by Sanjay Chell. Jackie Shroff does a great job in his role. Special mention to the music - It is one of Rahman's best. Ever green songs which still sounds fresh. Rahman could never reproduce this kind of music ever again or he never got the opportunity. RGV made a different film than his usual genre and it worked out so well that this is easily one of his best works. This film has some supporting characters which people will never forget like pakkya and the waiter at hotel
shoi With Rangili "Urmila" dancing tirelessly every quarter of an hour, this movie is a feast from frame 1 to the end. Excellent performances by both Aamir and Urmaila produce some enchanting moments but it is the underplayed role by Jackie that goes to make this movie a complete entertainer. The music by A.R. Rahman is one of its own kind.A must see.
