Kailansorac Clever, believable, and super fun to watch. It totally has replay value.

Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

gryphon-jackson Like all adaptations there are varying degrees of differences to the original text, however the reviews some of the others are ridiculously narrow-minded, this adaptation is a new / novel approach to an old theme. The original text was to warn children to adhere to parental advice and if you do not the consequences would be dire. This adaptation takes into consideration the changing world and what is seen as normal in today's society, just because this film has the courage to do so and reflect it back onto the viewing audience - I say the writer / producer / director team did extremely well. Don't deny artistic integrity, embrace it and encourage the arts. OK its not your cup of tea - do not brandish it paedophilic in its interpretation.

purplewanda Creepy & lascivious wolf. The young "Red" is wearing full make-up, and extremely short shorts & robe. Got about 20 minutes through and realized it could be a pedophile's dream come true. The "up-beat" music sounds a lot like something I'd hear at a strip club. I actually think this movie is a sick joke - it's not a family movie. Gross, glad I was watching this with my daughter, I don't want her to think it's normal for families to view quasi kiddie porn together. Very bad, Very sad it's sold as a family film, Joey Fatone will probably be embarrassed he was in it. And what's with advertising it as a "special effects spectacular"??? The effects do look low budget, gawd awful.

wpprods I was lucky enough to see Randal Kleiser's "Red Riding Hood", a technological breakthrough in shooting full stream HD with the Viper camera on a virtual reality stage. While this technology is being used more often, it was pioneered by Kleiser in 2003 in a full scale musical. Kleiser, the director of the most beloved and seen musical of all time ("Grease") applies his deft touch and sensitivity for childhood innocence to this musical contemporary retelling of the Grimm Brothers fable. With outstanding performances from Joey Fatone (the N'Sync star portrays a sharp dancing wolf), Laine Kazan and a host of newcomers, this picture entertains very young audiences in the sure way that only the master Kleiser can. Highly recommended for kids between 4 and 10 and their families.

hobbit482 I didn't think I would enjoy this movie. It's low-budget, and the trailer looked like something a 13-year-old could put together in Windows Movie Maker. I rented it anyway, because I am a huge fan of Henry Cavill.I LOVED IT. There aren't words to describe how hilarious this movie is. I think the cheesy, low-budget special effects were priceless.The story is timeless -- but this movie gives it a more modern edge and a unique flair. Morgan Thompson as Claire was delightful, Joey Fatone was hilarious as the Wolf, and Henry Cavill was delicious as the Hunter. The songs are addictive and fun. I've been humming one of them for weeks now. This is a rare gem that kids and adults can enjoy equally. It's a great movie to watch with your family. I've already recommended it to a few people, all of whom have shared my opinion.
