shipnbottle This film is one of my favourite so-called "End Times" films. It's smart, with some really good acting, and some surprises in its storytelling. The film centers around Special Agent Thorold Stone (Jeff Fahey) who loses his family to a mysterious worldwide event wherein people vanish. In the aftermath, the man is pushed to the brink--his life now a shell of what it once was. In his pursuit of the "Haters," a name ascribed to Christians, his journey begins to reveal things about O.N.E. (similar to the UN) that unsettle him.It's a good story, with some really good performances from Fahey, Nick Mancuso (as the worldwide leader), Tony Nappo (as a wheelchair-bound computer hack) and Carol Alt (playing a blind woman). It is, too, quite funny in a few parts--thanks to the performance of Nappo.The evangelical thrust in the story isn't too heavy handed. It makes sense that in the film's worldview, the Christ-follower's view is embraced, and those against faith in Christ are, subsequently, their enemies and need to be stopped.It's a really good film. Recommended.Considering that the film was made nearing 20 years ago, it's stood the test of time and may, actually, be more accurate to what actually happens in the future than we realize.

Jon Washbrook Do not watch this movie.I got this on DVD free in a special PS2 promotion and I am saddened that I have lost 2 hours of my life due to this film. A friend of mine didn't believe it could be as bad as I said it was and borrowed it off me. He still hasn't forgiven me.Not even worth considering if you find it in the bargain bin. In fact, if you see it on a shop shelf then RUN AWAY! As fast as you can.

stormleader This movie is horrible. Aside from the plot gaffes, of which there are many, the movie itself is very weak. For those of you who are not Christians, you are seriously going to be left out, since I am a deeply devout Christian, and this movie had me reeling! Many non-Christians believe that simply because it is a Christian movie, we all like it. Trust me, it's not true. I have reviewed thousands of movies. In fact, 5,698 to date (not here. I have a website.) The plotlines are sketchy, the acting is stiff and cardboard, and the incredible cheese that flows from this movie is just palpable. Peter & Paul LaLonde need to sit down and find out how a real movie is made. They need to quit watching Mighty Morphin Power Rangers for plot insight too. This has to stop. Christian movies are among the lowest rated movies in the world. Now, in the older days, we had Ben Hur & Ten Commandments, The Robe, etc. Extremely high quality huge epic productions. Ten Commandments alone had the largest cast & set at the time it was made. Now with Revelation, of course, pathetic CG effects make it sub-par.Trust me, if you are interested in studying Christianity and Christian movies, don't use this one. Or the next one, or the one before this one.

martinharley31 To paraphrase Comic book Guy from the Simpsons "Worst Film Ever!!!" And this does not even begin to tell you what you have let yourself in for by watching this film. Timed at 551/2 mins before the incredulity of the wooden acting wore off! The only saving grace was a quite unique, and I suppose vaugely interesting storyline, which somehow managed to distract from the acting - just long enough for you to last till the dissapointing 'climax'.
