The Double Deuce is the meanest, loudest and rowdiest bar south of the Mason-Dixon Line, and Dalton has been hired to clean it up. He might not look like much, but the Ph.D.-educated bouncer proves he's more than capable – busting the heads of troublemakers and turning the roadhouse into a jumping hot spot. But Dalton's romance with the gorgeous Dr. Clay puts him on the bad side of cutthroat local big shot Brad Wesley.

Huievest Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.
Helloturia I have absolutely never seen anything like this movie before. You have to see this movie.
jeeap How come these cigarette smoking, beer drinking, sex overusing dudes can do so nicely in a fight? Young generation, beware! This is not what you do to become physically strong!
marshalllancaster Pardon the hyperbole. I love this movie. I think the story is compelling enough. Down on his luck college graduate enters a line of work best suited to his real talents-eradicating town scum. At his core, Dalton is good. Swayze is on. Perhaps this is best as a guy flick.
sardonis-55531 I don't know what it is about this film. And yes I said film.. Maybe it is Patrick Swayze and his glorious mullet, But I enjoy this movie. It's like a Kurosawa film, set around a honky tonk in a small town in America. The rough, blue collar bar setting is wonderfully ironic given the complex themes explored in the story. The fights are like ancient duels between men. Drawing you in is the contemplation of greed vs honor and righteousness vs killing, Compelling you to continue watching despite your initial impression that this was just another B rate 80s movie. And then there's Patrick Swayze and his glorious mullet. This film just works.
Rob Adam Delivered by the utterly coolest dude that ever lived on this planet.. Mr Sam Elliot: "That girl has entirely too many brains to have an ass like that." Apart from that, this is such an easy watch, and such fun! If you haven't, do. Alone or with the g/f b/f. It doesn't matter. You'll love it!
