This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. There's no unnecessary buildup to the plot line; it gets going right after the credits. Prepon, from That 70s Show, is not much different from her character on the show. It will be interesting to see if she turns out to be more than a one note actress. There are some unbelievable moments (beside the whole premise of the movie): like changing clothes with handcuffs on. How does one pull a top over their head with cuffs on!?!? Things like that really annoy me.Carrie Fiaher's character is laugh out loud funny as 'The Ugly American' in another country. The leading male character is a good looking and funny actor. This was a pretty good romantic comedy. After reading some of the other reviews I almost skipped this one but I'm glad I didn't.

When on a whim I thought I'd look up the trivia for this movie on IMDb and I saw that it had a standing rating of a measly 6 stars my heart sunk. This movie was incredible! It was filled with perhaps the most memorable one-liners, the funniest "villians", and the most unbelievable break downs imaginable. Not to mention one of the hunkiest pieces of man meat I have ever had the pleasure of watching for an hour and some odd minutes jump through cinema hoops. This movie had me laughing, crying, and kept me guessing through the entire thing. Sit down with your significant other, your sister, your brother, your mother, your father, your best friend, your puppy, kitty, or stuffed animal named Paul, I don't know...just WATCH IT.

Carrie had me laughing throughout the whole movie! (I originally watched this because she was in it, now I'd watch it again for the movie itself.) I love romantic comedies and Carrie Fisher, so the two together it's like WHOA!! The plot was really good...Melisa married a total stranger the day before her wedding and she has to get the whole thing like annulled, and she has this control freak mother, Edwina (who is played by Carrie Fisher) who is like in freak mode the entire movie. In the end she chooses to leave Bryan (her fiancé) and go with Carlos. I loved the part where Edwina says:"Nothingis impossible. It's just possible with I M in front of it. You see I-M possible." I often use that when people say things are impossible!!

I can't imagine what would have possessed Carrie Fisher to be in this movie. Maybe she had a big house payment looming...I can't say. But I can't think of one good reason to watch this movie, so don't ask me why I did.It opens with Melissa (Laura Prepon from That 70's Show) waking up next to Carlos (Matt Cedeño) the day before her wedding. There's just one problem...Carlos isn't Melissa's intended groom. She's hung over and doesn't remember anything from the previous evening, not even marrying a total stranger. What follows is your typical meant-for-each-other-but-they-don't-know-it comedy of errors that won't provide any surprises. The few laughs (and I'm talking 1 or 2) come from Carrie Fisher as Melissa's headstrong mother. The only good thing I can say is Matt Cedeño is quite easy on the eyes, and the scenery is breathtaking. So unless you're a bride-to-be scouting locations for your honeymoon like the previous reviewer (I mean really...ever heard of a vacation planner?) you should avoid this movie.
