SteinMo What a freaking movie. So many twists and turns. Absolutely intense from start to finish.
SpunkySelfTwitter It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.
Brendon Jones It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
Bea Swanson This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
pradeesh M I happen to watch this movie on DVD and I liked it not just because of its typical Indian Family/Comedy movie but it has good entertainment ingredients, who cares about its flawed plot. Well, the film surely makes you laugh with light hearted comedy and the screenplay isn't so bad with too many loopholes. In fact the best part is the climax when the misinterpreted/Disguised priests gets in to the hands of Police and not let free(Which would have been a typical illogical Indian Movie). Background score does good to the the mood of the plot. All the actors do good justice to the roles and none of the characters seemed to be unnecessarily placed. In Nutshell do Watch this movie and you surely wont repent for it.
Tejas Nair Romans seemed to be entertaining with the posters and cast promising high. But, in fact, it turns out to be a typical comedy thriller which you can both predict and not predict at the same time. Not much of intrigue is produced as the film advances.Boban & Menon are good but I loved Menon's humorous dialogs than Kunchacko's. Cast performances is average whereas the direction is sloppy. The story, as I hear is borrowed from Hollywood, doesn't charm because it gives you the impression of dozen of fools being fooled by two godly men. With lots of plot holes & mistakes, Romans turns out to be more of a clichéd thriller than comedy towards second half. 180 minutes of running time, & I exhausted most of my coke & popcorn. You will get tired of the usual humor, dialogs and screenplay. With an array of unanswered questions, Romans disappoints. And the inclusion of love factor is just not done. Yes, it send the chills towards the end, but you feel robbed as the balance between comedy & horror is poor and the foundation is decrepit.BOTTOM LINE: Not much of a great story; neither it is a comic caper. But watch it if you are a fan and love cheap humor accompanied by slapstick. Can be watched with a typical Indian family?
