When radio psychiatrist Sonny Blake (Rose McGowan) moves into the old house where her father died, she finds herself harassed by the mysterious paper boy Derek (Daniel Ross Owens) which turns into a deadly game of cat and mouse.Directed by Jeepers Creepers helmet Victor Salva, the film does indeed contain some of his signature creep-factor style. Which is the highlight here. The film does a great job at keeping you on edge and making you feel as creeped out as possible. McGowan is fine in the lead role in which she successfully conveys the tragedy and paranoia of Sonny. Daniel Ross Owens also gives a haunting performance even if the Directions of his character can feel very campy. And those are the only good points. The biggest distraction was the films score, it didn't fit well with the tone at all, it was too whimsical and felt like something from a comedy which did take away from the horror/thriller elements of the story. The final twist and reveal is something I did predict early on purely as a joke but when it ended up to be true, it had me laughing at whether or not it's genius or makes no sense at all. Overall, it feels like one of those guilty pleasure made for TV lifetime movies that does a good job at passing the time but is nonetheless utterly forgettable.

I was very happy when I saw this movie in the television I thought "Hum, there is a long time that I saw a thriller movie. I've sit my butt in the chair to watch a movie that in the begin, I was loving "A typical horror movie" But I can't understand the ending. There's not even the why! What the hell happened to him?! They are twins or it's a freaking black magic?! I was nervous with the hide and seek, the murder. But there's not a god damn explanation for nothing! You know,in a good horror movie there IS a explanation at the end. A NOT EXPECTED EXPLANATION!! But there is a dumb crappy end. I don't know who's gonna like this crap!

Jesus Christ. this is true victor salva! if you liked jeepers creepers you will surely enjoy this, same elements and at one point even the same scene. the man can make a truly creepy movie without punching you in the face with the CGI, something rare these days. well shot, low budget gold! rose mcgowan incredible, just like in planet terror. awesome movie, its definitely worth a watch for the horror movie guys. i REALLY don't understand how this has such a low rating! try watching it. awesome movie, good acting. victor salva has done it again. i have to say it one more time: IF YOU LIKED JEEPERS CREEPERS AND JEEPERS CREEPERS 2 (and cant wait for the third part) YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS. GOOD MOVIE IN ALL THE WAYS! if you are not too critic with it it can take you inside the story and make you feel it. as his other movies it has some sequences that make your heart go like if you were living the scene. cant wait for the next salva work. This movie was completely a waste of my time. The story line gets you no where and doesn't make sense at all. There is no back story to the villain you never find out if the freaking Paper Boy is a real person or some kind of demonic force or triplets or all of the above and you never find out what the F-word his purpose was or who he was. I should expect this from the same douche bag who made those horrible jeepers creepers movies. Also you never find out in the end if her freaking husband is dead or alive. More about this paper boy, number one the paper boy doesn't look like a boy or minor at all. I feel like this movie was horribly thought out with excellent actors. I think everyone watching this movie lost at least 20 point off there IQ. May God have mercy on the souls of these bastards who made this film.
