This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
Tobias Burrows
It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

SCAREGIVERS is a broad comedy horror flick from the Philippines and shot in Tagalog. It's a silly piece of guff about a goofy couple of guys who indulge in cross-dressing and the like. They also happen to be bumbling crooks who are caught and shipped off to a mental institute after their latest attempt at a crime. While there, they discover the place is haunted and attempt to solve the mystery of the haunting. The film is too cheap for much in the way of supernatural stuff, but there's plenty of hapless comedy and overacting from the two leads. Some of the OTT humour is similar to that found in Hong Kong cinema (e.g. the MY LUCKY STARS films) although not as slick or amusing.
