Too many fans seem to be blown away

It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny

This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.

The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

This took the worst of Sense8 and magnified its flaws perfectly. There was so much promise to the concept, and the scale of the production and characters had so much depth. Season 2 broadly killed that off and this finale completely marginalised the lead characters, turning them into 2D versions of themselves. The episode itself ends so awfully slowly (the montages generally added nothing to the storyline or to the characters throughout both series) that I was left with a terribly sour note in my mouth. I invested hours of the last few weeks in this!Sigh. It just could have been SO good with better scriptwriting, better production and better forethought. The actors were seriously undersold.

I have never seen an end to a series and been satisfied. It has been a beautiful show about inclusiveness shot literally across the world and the beauty that is the world in which we live. This rushed finale is not without its flaws but it was made for us, it attempted to give us so much about what we loved about the show and why we loved the show. You can forgive all holes and getting lost in it all because you hope in the amazement of it all, and in its teaching somehow somewhere we get another season. With the time restraints, with all that this show is and has become they couldn't have done a better job! So bitter sweet I say thank you for the experience.

The Sense8 Finale has done a good job of wrapping up everything after 2 seasons. There was some points in my opinion that it could have been better but it's hard to give it a perfect ending since last season ended up opening up many possibilities to come, and having the fact that it was a sudden cancellation for Netflix for such a highly anticipated and amazing show. The title already said it all: "Love Conquers All". The finale is all about fighting for the people we love, fighting for love and the utopian happy ending that anybody should be able to have, as Lana already talked about. That is what special about Sense8, that it shouldn't be loss and grieve all the time, people can be free to decide their destinies. Moreover, there are also super hilarious scenes that made me could not keep myself from laughing out loud.
As great as it is, the finale however didn't meet some criteria I was looking for. Frankly, it was important to include all of the characters in a finale but not smart to gather them all in a place. All the sensates are deeply connected yes, but I feel that the supporting characters do not seem to fit into the group, so it turned out pretty clumsy how they did with the lines and conversations between the characters.
The 2,5 hours wrap up of Sense8 wasn't the best episode in the series but it offered such a fun, action-packed and emotional experience. I didn't feel up to the vibe at first but it got better and totally paid off at the climax and final hour of the series as they delivered ultimate truths, non-stop twists and heart-melting moments that would last forever. Keep spreading love everybody!

A fitting end to an emotionally captivating show, shame on those that wouldn't renew for a full third season.
