positiva I just finished watching this movie and I am very disappointed.The explanation: The story is actually good! Very good and very funny. It seems like a parody to all the similar "horrors". But the actors were mostly awful. And everything else was awful to.. for example: when the cat jumps through the window, we actually see a hand which has pushed the cat through it. Also the blond actress has too much powder on..her face is a lot darker than the rest of her body and you can also see a line between dark and bright skin. I feel I could tape this film with my own camera...so,everything was bad except the story herself. I think they should have left direction and production of this film to someone who is better in it, because it could be a hit,you know...

gothluver I got this movie because I saw that Debbie Rochon & Lilith Stabs were in it. I figured with these two names it would at least deserve a look. I did not know that Deb was merely doing a small cameo part. I have seen Lilith Stabs in Vampire Call Girls, Demomatrix and Vampire Catholic Schoolgirls from Hell. The director of these productions gave her scripts that enabled her to demonstrate her highly erotic capabilities & brought her goth style & glamour to the attention of b fans & directors. Her role in this as house slut does not give her any opportunity to show her erotic style & talent. If you want to see a group of the plainest girls & lamest guys in a movie then get this one. Debbie & Lilith need to be much more picky about the productions they take part in. They deserve much better than this.

theTRUTH-hurts If you see this chicks name in the credits immediately turn around and run in the other direction! The two movies I've seen by her are lame and stupid. I also agree with the people who said she was dull and partially spoiled this movie by insisting on starring in it (only partially because the writing and direction are also awful and spoil the rest of it). Severe Injuries is just another case of a vain and misguided effort that exists to try to prove just how talented one human being thinks they are. The problem is that Amy Lynn is just simply not talented at all. She is also not an appealing or attractive actress... at all! It's just painful to watch at times. In fact, the lead actresses in this movie altogether are not good looking or talented. Robyn Griggs has gone downhill since her soap opera days and insists on wearing tight clothing so her gut hangs out of the bottom of her shirt. The other lead girls are quite hideous also and not a one of them can act. That leaves the good looking and talented women like Debbie Rochon and Jasi Lanier with just small cameo appearances here which will be a huge disappointment to their fans. The movie itself is a forced and unfunny parody of slasher films about a killer murdering sorority girls and their boyfriends. I like very low budget horror movies like the ones from Eric Stanze but this is a piece of garbage that needs to be thrown in the dumpster where it belongs.

Derek Ho Came across a bootleg DVD-R copy of this & it is, IMHO, the best of Amy Lynn Best's productions. Though I'm still not a fan of this type of forced comedy, the overall effect here is much better than her other films. The haunted or cursed house atmosphere gives some added punch to the story and the acting is generally a step or two above what I've come to expect from the usual list of suspects. And any excuse to see Debbie Rochon on tape again is worth the price of admission or the cost of a convention bootleg. I like Lilith Stabs and Debbie Rochon and I look forward to the perfect teaming of this pair. In the meanwhile, Severe Injuries is certainly Amy Lynn Best's best so far. I hope she keeps trying because I think there is going to be at least one very good film coming from her.
