Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

Suman Shakya A divorced lady in her 30s loses all her money in Los Vegas' casino and burrows a huge sum of money from a gangster, which she loses too. To pay back, she starts to rob the banks as the notorious "The Lipstick Bandit." This summons a gullible plot of "Simran," said to be loosely based on a real life story; but nevertheless, it keeps one watching for the curiosity and entertainment it creates. Kangana Ranaut as a feisty single lady steals the show with the shades she gives to her character, and the glossy look of the film often does the wonder. Despite an ease and the implausibility the film carries, it surely is entertaining and worthwhile.Rating: 2.5 stars out of 4

At least I'm not expecting anything more from this Extraordinary Movie. It entertained me (9/10), Show me some bitter Reality of a Helpless, Needy but Kind-Heated portrait of human being (9/10), A film that can be enjoyed in any situation/environment with the whole family - because it's a family movie needs to be shown by all of the family members together (9/10), there are many things in the film from which individuals can take some lesson.So, I rate this movie 9 out 10 from the bottom of my heart. This is not the Only movie of its kind but one of those - that are not just some stupid sex+violence+melodrama+fiction but a Fresh & Fair Strong Social Message which should be delivered to everyone who are still not aware of 21st Centurion Movies.Thanks to the whole 'Simran Team'. kanika2505 5 points only and only for Kangana's acting. The movie is hopelessly unrealistic. In an era of Smartphones in which the movie's story line is going on, how can someone rob banks one after another SO easily! Agreed that there will always be a difference between movies and reality but the kind of difference this movie has, makes it qualify for the 'fantasy' category. Other than that, the movie was unclear and incomplete on various other points. Praful's (Kangana) father is shown so chilled out in the end in the jail sitting next to a daughter charged with robbing multiple banks but bursts into flames on the topic of stock markets!!!! What's the logic!! Just because theoretically you can show anything in a movie doesn't mean one should make that practically happen!

arvind-ramaiya While the movie sounded great in the plot, the script had little action and with no male hero, the plot centered around the heroine. Even if it is really based on a true story, it did not inspire me to go watch such movies in future. We watched it at night and the last show. Some good acting in pieces but overall I gave it a 5 out of 10 only because there was a bit of Vegas in it.
