fbilgrami We picked this movie by accident but it turned out to be an excellent choice. My mom loved it so much she went back the next day to see it again with dad. Superb comic timing, Great cinematography, fabulous locations, some very nice fight sequences, unusual Bollywood dances. Would have been better if the hero and heroine could communicate a bit more but perhaps that was part of the plan. Great performances by Kay Kay Menon, Lara Dutta and the two friends. Waiting for the DVD to come out. Would love to own and watch over and over. Keep the kids entertained during parties. I would highly recommend this to folks looking for a simple entertainer with a very simple story line.

namashi_1 Prabhu Deva's 'Singh Is Bliing' is a lighthearted entertainer, that offers some genuinely funny moments. However, the laughter & the entertainment are limited to the first-hour, as the second-hour fizzles in comparison.'Singh Is Bliing' Synopsis: Raftaar Singh, a kindhearted, yet good-for-nothing man, is sent to Goa by his father for work proposes. While there, he falls for a Foreigner, who's being chased by a thug. Chaos Follows...'Singh Is Bliing' works nicely in the first-hour. The humour, though non-sense, it works & some sequences leave you in splits. The Lara Dutta track, especially, is very funny. Sadly, the story stagnates in its second-hour. The pace drops & the humour stops being fun. Also, the track of the villain, lacks meat. In short, the first-hour is a hit, while the second-hour takes a hit!Shiraz Ahmed's Screenplay is good to a point. Even the dialogue are quite enjoyable. But, the second-hour is a downer. Prabhu Deva's Direction is over-the-top. Cinematography is well-done, capturing the exotic locales, perfectly. Editing isn't tight enough. Music by Various Artists is energetic. Action-Sequences are nicely executed.Performance-Wise: Akshay Kumar shines as Raftaar Singh. He's in good goofy mode, delivering a yet another comedic act. Amy Jackson looks gorgeous & does some serious ass-kicking. Acting wise, she's strictly okay! Lara Dutta is fun to watch. Kay Kay Menon hams as the villain. Rati Agnihotri is cute. Pradeep Rawat is passable. Anil Mange & Arfi Lamba leave a mark.On the whole, 'Singh Is Bliing' entertains in doses.

Maulin Parmar Akshay Kumar ans Prabhudheva are back after Rowdy Rathore. When Prabhudheva started making films which have a new concept and story (Not a remake), like R Rajkumar, Action Jackson and Singh Is Bling, the storyline became weaker and weaker. Though AJ was one of the worst films of this decade, SIB is somehow better than that one, even better than some of Akki's comedy movies, but, though nothing offers new! First time, I've seen Akshay Kumar in the film, where he can't be able to fight with villains. Instead of him, Ammy Jackson fights well. This movie belongs to her only. Lara Dutta has a cute small comedy role, which she had played nicely. Sunny Leone's cameo is also in the film. Yograj Singh as Akki's father has an impact. Rati Agnihotri is good. Kay Kay Menon, the villain, nothing much to do, then also he is too good like his one liner! Cinematography in Punjab, Goa and Romania is superb. Songs have been filmed very well. We have always enjoy the songs of Prabhudheva's films, like Saree Ke Fall Sa or Gandi Baat or Chinta Ta. Here also we can see his touch in all the songs. Tung Tung is truly melodious. A colorful song. Aja Mahi is my favorite. Chu Che is a fun song. Cinema Dekhe Amma is the song where we found something interesting things in the background. Overall, music is good and enjoyable. Though the film doesn't offer something new. We have seen the common man, fights for his love in the end to the villain and all ends in well. So, you can watch this only for some of comedy scenes in Goa or for the love of Punjab and Akshay. A time-pass movie.

Sagar Gaur I like to start with Akshay, I am his big fan. Great Actor. Matured with years. super comedian. Movie all together is a great watch. Perfect timing by all characters. I watched 1st Day 1st Show. Prabhudeva is a great comedy- action Director, no doubt. Prabudeva and Akshay chemistry also work this time. The maximum songs are both in Hindi and English, English conversion is funny. 60% movie is both in English and Hindi. The songs are in Punjabi mixed with Hindi and English. Prabhu sir put one South style song as well. Song is nice but don't go well with punjabi dance. Amy, new comer is great. Nice action by her. Good acting. Lara Dutta add the charm to the movie. No doubt, she is a great actress. Her perfect timing and lovely acting make the movie more funny and watchable. Kay Kay Menon looks too old for the role of a son. Nevertheless, he is a good actor. ArfiLamba and AnilMange played there part in a nice way. Good friends to Akshay and add beauty to the comedy with few nice lines. Script is OK. There is one car chasing scene, hilarious !!! Overall, its a comedy with action pack family movie.
