Tedfoldol everything you have heard about this movie is true.
Pacionsbo Absolutely Fantastic
BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Micah Lloyd Excellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.
ctomvelu1 It is nigh to impossible to sit through this slow-moving, no-budget variation on THE Texas CHAINSAW MASSACRE. A troubled young woman joins up with another young woman she meets in the city and goes to stay with her at the family farm. Something unsavory is going on in the farm's barn, and curiosity soon gets the better of our heroine. What she discovers puts her life in jeopardy. The two gals are reasonably attractive but marginal when it comes to acting ability, and the ending is majorly disappointing. Essentially, this is a no-gore horror flick that depends more on sound effects than visceral visuals. I would say you may safely pass on this one, which drags badly. A typical TV show is better than this.
overkillxx 1 1/2 hours of absolute dribble before one of the worst most depressing endings possible. The director deserves to be castrated for this utter crap of an excuse of a horror movie that isn't even what I would call a horror except for the plot which truly was horrific. If you truly hate someone I would recommend this movie to them for the thorough enjoyment in knowing that you will waist 1 1/2 hours of there life & they will hate you back without doubt.. In addition to the awful ending someone should tell the morons that wrote and directed this that a double barrel shotgun only holds 2 shots not 3!!Avoid this movie at all costs, I literally feel nauseous after watching it and nearly pulled my hair out at the end in disbelief and anger. I cant say enough bad things about it to make myself feel better, hopefully the director, actors and all associated with it never work again!!
Christien Glick The past 8 films to die for have been mostly hit and miss, with some being amazing and others just painful. This one is a definite hit. With its artistic opening and very slow build up it creates tension through confusion. Forcing the viewer to constantly say "Wait what?" Despite the plethora of gorgeous women through out the film none are exploited to entertain the male audience. Which is a nice change from most horror movies, though it still has the classic bath scene, which apparently every horror movie has to have. The location and sets are wonderful, adding to the atmosphere of a beautiful yet lonely farm. Art scattered though out the film is amazingly top notch, giving even more eye candy and depth to the overall film. The DVD is a for sure buy having a lovely making of which had us all laughing, and the Miss Horrorfeast webisodes were surprisingly entertaining, and even had me jump out of my seat. The actors were all visually appropriate, however the acting was not very convincing. Though a lack of acting abilities isn't always a bad thing in most horror movies, seeing as how that was the only entertaining factor in "My Bloody Valentine" which was also quite an eye sore. However one actor did stand out, the young boy. He stole every scene he was in.The climax is very satisfying taking all the build up and finally rewarding the viewer for following along. The movie overall was very entertaining and very suspenseful, not overly gory like you'd think from a title like Slaughter.
p1u9 Let me first start off by saying this is my first review of a movie ever posted on IMDb. I have been reading comments from movies off IMDb for years. But since I am a big fan of good horror films. I wanted to advise many people to stay away from this garbage! This is the second film I have watched in the After dark horror fest 3 series. The first one being "Autopsy" Which is much better done than this. I mean is this really what The After Dark horror fest has to offer? This movie was a complete waste of time. It's about a girl "Faith" who moves away from where she is currently living to get away from what it seems like her abusive boyfriend. She moves to a place on her family farm and meets a troubled girl named "Lola" at the bar. The movie drags and the story is just really not well written. When the director actually starts revealing more of the background of the farm and "Lola" you really just don't even care. There is no killing, no gore really at all. There is one scene where a guy is walking with his arm in his hand that was cut off. Woo Ho!! Yea right!! Then you actually think Faith's boyfriend is going to actually find her and save the day! But still no! I thought if that would have happened it would have at least been near "okay"....But I was wrong the movie keeps going and you come to find out that Lola's father is a really (sic) individual that kinda made "Lola" the killer she is. But all in all the ending is crap and I would totally pass on this one. If this is what The After Dark horror films have to offer then I'll Pass....
