The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.

There is definitely an excellent idea hidden in the background of the film. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find it.

It should be a crime to promote and a film with the words featuring the music of Van Morrison this film featured half of one Van song (Astral Weeks) and a full Lala from Derek & the Dominoes & a lot of other obscure background music. With that said I will comment on this film said to have won awards in Canada. Taking in to consideration the period of the 70's the film's plot was okay but fell off after about 30 minutes and ultimately it was about a man who loved his music but hated his boss & the system etc. A man who can't love a woman and keep a job because he thinks he should be "cool" instead.
