Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

Well actually not. If anything the relatively high Imdb score is somewhat of a surprise. The story itself is really not that exciting. A TV movie that helped Eric Roberts out - although I reckon he always finds a job. And he really is a good actor. Even if you may question that statement after watching some of his "spasms" during the movie. But it's all in good faith and someone has to lower themselves to give this an extra boost. Right now even more might be sensible to something that always should feel like a bad joke. The women do not talk about #metoo but you could apply this to this movie too. There are many cringe worthy moments and overall I don't think anyone needs to see this

***SPOILERS***What seems to be a re-make of the Peter Lorre 1935 classic "Mad Love" Eric Roberts is at his creepiest best as the control freak doctor Beck who despite his skills as one of the country's top cardiologist is a total dud-Like Peter Lorre was-in making it or getting it on with the opposite sex that drives him to the point of insanity. We see right away what a Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde character Beck is when one of the dates his has, trough an on-line dating service, walks out on him after jumping the gun in asking her her to marry him bear his children and quit her job just to be with him before she barley even gets to known him! Freaking out and going crazy Beck makes a complete spectacle of himself in a crowded restaurant, trashing the place, without anyone bothering to call the police before he ends up hurting or even killing someone! Especially his terrified date who checks out of the place running for her very life with him chasing her. Back at work in the hospital Dr. Beck, doing a good deed for once, saves the life of a car accident victim 18 year old Sophie Green, Brianna Joy Comer, with his skills as a master cardiologist and sees his big chance to get her to fall in love with him, whom he's old enough to be her grand father, when she fully recovers. At first grateful for saving her life Sophie as well as her mom Adrienne Green, Deborah Zoe, soon realize that the sweet and friendly Dr. Beck has a bark side that they at first overlooked. Not only stalking Sophie wherever she goes and making a total a** of himself in doing it the completely whacked out Beck goes so far as breaking into her home and getting turned on by sleeping in her bed as well as sniffing her clothes like a bloodhound to pick up her scent or body odor! ****SPOILERS**** Despite doing a fabulous job at the hospital saving patients when he's off duty Dr. Beck stalks Sophie trying to get her to move to Mexico with him and be his bride that she's more then unwilling to do! Beck's obsession goes so far that her almost kills pain in the butt Sophie's mom by spiking her medication with penicillin, which she's allergic to, and re fracturing her boyfriend Ryan's,Carson Boatman, leg who was driving, while at the same time as well as texting, the car that she was almost got killed in that got hit by a truck! Off the wall ending with Beck kidnapping Sophie who escapes from his clutches only to show up at her funeral after Beck faked her death in a car crash that he used one of the stiffs, who was burned to a crisp, at the hospital morgue to impersonate her body. With her crippled and grieving boyfriend Rayn when seeing her gets miraculously cured and was able by throwing away his clutches run a 10 second 100 yard dash to embrace her! As for Dr. Beck after having his head battered with a golf club by Sophie does make it to Mexico to start a new life as well as romance with a sexy young Latin women there that is totally unaware of his very unusual ways of romancing and love making.

Older but attractive cardiologist Eric Roberts (as Albert Beck) is stood up while waiting on a date with a much younger woman. Leaving the restaurant, Mr. Roberts becomes unhinged and drives his car over 100 mph, apparently headed for a crash
The story abruptly switched to a soccer game. Pretty high school senior Brianna Chomer (as Sophie Green) watches her athletically cute boyfriend Carson Boatman (as Ryan) on the field. Later, they celebrate her college acceptance. Due to Mr. Boatman's texting while driving, they get into a car crash. He has a leg injury, but will live. Worse off, Ms. Green has a broken rib which could rupture her heart. She will die without a quick, successful operation. The title "Stalked by My Doctor" indicates what is in store for Green, should her operation prove successful...It's difficult to believe Roberts' character is one of the top cardiologists in the world, yet demonstrates behavior that would insult middle-schoolers by suggesting a comparison. You just have to accept his cognitive development is arrested in selected areas. He does have a bed with restraints, which comes in handy when his potential sex partners get the creeps. As usual, Roberts is fun to watch, even if the material is underwhelming. He obviously enjoys acting. Writer-director Doug Campbell wisely keep the cast out of the way and lets Roberts ride the wave. He throws priceless tantrums, ending an early one by telling his date, "I'm unfriending you!" When he learns Roberts may be interested in abducting his teenage daughter, unconcerned father Jon Briddell says, "Guys will be guys." L.O.L... ***** Stalked by My Doctor (2015/12/26) Doug Campbell ~ Eric Roberts, Brianna Joy Chomer, Carson Boatman, Deborah Zoe

The wack job of the week is a prominent doctor who obsesses about his teenage patient. If you think about it, it could happen. Even though he is a rich successful doctor he comes off as not quite right so he can't keep a relationship. If you think about it a crazy doctor can get away with quite a lot of stuff and it's revealing to see the things he gets up to.Eric Roberts is suited to the role as the crazy doctor - hasn't he played every kind of bad guy there is? He seems to be in lots of movies these days and there is nothing wrong especially if he is right for the role. He deserves some kind of collective award for all the baddies he has played. Brianna Joy Chomer as the teenage girl acts well. The reaction of her parents is interesting - the mother is suspicious but the father isn't.Worth one watch.
