Payno I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

Horst in Translation ([email protected]) This is another short film starring Clive Owen as a mysterious driver. The whole thing runs for 9 minutes, but the last 2 minutes are credits. Owen was still a very possible candidate for stepping into Pierce Brosnan's shoes as James Bond when this was made almost 15 years ago, He did not get the part, but at least he could drive Madonna around in this short movie. The queen of pop music plays a more extreme version of herself in here, a superstar with massive airs and graces. Obviously, this is also a sarcastic take on what media report on Madonna in terms of her alleged narcissism. The writer and director here was Guy Ritchie, Madonna's newly-wed husband. The action is not too memorable, but it's not too bad either. The whole thing gets rounded up with a catchy tune by Blur. All in all worth a watch, even if the drama from the other entries to Owen's driver series is not really there this time. Probably the funniest out of these. Recommended.

Boba_Fett1138 "The Hire" goes British style this time. The style is comparable to movies like "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels", "Snatch and "The Boondock Saints". It is filled with some typical humor and overall is a lot of fun to watch.Still the short suffers from one big problem; Madonna. I'm sorry but she really can't act. Even in the scene's were she has no lines she acts horrible. She really pulled the professionalism of the movie down.Also thing I was not to happy about was the editing, it was kind of messy especially in the car speeding sequences.Still the fourth "The Hire" short is a lot of fun to watch and the ending itself is really funny!6/10http://bobafett1138.blogspot.com/

Daleknight This one is comedy done very well. Guy knows how to make us laugh! The ending is one of the best, and that car chase was the best bar none. The car chase alone made this short better than the whole movie "The Transporter"! Check out the rest of the films.

jeffchina And I haven't got tired of watching it yet. I admit I didn't think it was REALLY Madonna in this little short but I guess it is. Clive Owen is quickly becoming the actor I would most like to see in other projects. Of course I hope that the projects are more substantial than this but if he were to sign up for something with Guy Ritchie I would be delighted.
