The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

After George Lucas redeemed himself in a two prequel trilogy which it wasn't in accordance of various expectations, Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith was one of the answers so it could be a rebalancing of the two prequels. Now, this is what we want. This is what we're waiting for how Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader, became one of the most phenomenal antagonists ever in any trilogy. This movie is also for the first time used PG-13 rating in which the whole trilogy used PG on it. For the first time, George Lucas finally able to make and go further into the story for an original Star Wars trilogy that has been released first. This time, Revenge Of The Sith gives a story which is so dark and all the actors and actresses also executed a very phenomenally performance in this movie. This is the final three prequel from the Star Wars trilogy and becomes a connection to the original story. It's promising that the first impressions seem to flow optimistically but slowly. However, the story will start to change little by little as the story goes. A movie which shows how the Anakin Skywalker character that's increasingly falling into the dark side and also the relationship between teachers and students, Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi are the most uplifting. Of all the Star Wars trilogy, this episode, what I understand, is the most emotional, gloomy, saddest, and suffering ever. The development of the Anakin character which is more overwhelmed by its contrary perspective which leads to manipulation is well-developed. The conflict was more apparent especially the relationship between Obi-Wan and Anakin which was like a bromance thing but was ended in a grim situation. The Jedi Council, which was declared useless, finally got their consequences. As well, Obi-Wan who fails to become a teacher like Qui-Gon didn't succeed even though in his deep inside heart, he still considered Anakin as his son. George Lucas's effort to create a rich atmosphere from the story which was also actually complex suddenly changed drastically. Sure, this movie still has a point about political conspiracy from The Phantom Menace until this episode. But, this movie is about Anakin. The movie we want from the beginning. Palpatine as the manipulator character is one of the best and he is able to do so with various attempts at destroying the Jedi council from little by little until the chaos of his behind the scenes is one of the best. For some reason, this is one of the series that I think hit us harder more than anything because everything in this movie knows whether it's the characters or what it has and it brings out the most intense emotional surface. Sure, there are some scripts which it still feels awkward and cringes like in the previous prequel but this takes the cakes.A successful effort he made smoothly at the beginning became the most Star Wars prequel trilogy movie that was able to show all the scenes with full importance and meaning for the original story. George Lucas doesn't seem to just sit silently from behind the scenes because the visual effects are so magnificent from the beginning of the opening scene which is no less excellent than the original and visual effects shown on various planets. Even so, I still like the first opening in The Empire Strikes Back. There is a lot of memorable scenes which are the most recognized in this film, such as the final lightsaber fight at the end, the scene when Anakin and Palpatine talked about the dark side of the Force, Anakin Skywalker who turned into a psychopath, and Grievous as the cameo from Star Wars: The Clone Wars even though he became one of the useless characters but, why not? All choreography from fights and duel between lightsaber is well-executed perfect. It's like one on one duel who is dancing using the lightsaber but in an aggressive yet elegant style.Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi isn't too great and same as his performance in previous films. Hayden Christensen is so damn great at this movie. Regardless of the script that feels shallow, he shows an expression that is so brutal from someone who is hungry for the superpower and just wants to save his beloved wife in order to reach it, he does everything. Same with Natalie Portman as she's so different in this movie and not like the previous trilogy movies. Ian McDiarmid is one of the truly best at this point and of course, he is the one who acts the most important role of all the characters, from manipulating Anakin to showing the true origins. The visual effects of Yoda also look very nice and emotional in certain scenes with Frank Oz's support as the voice actor. John Williams is awesome in composing the scores. It's so brilliant and emotional especially at the end of the movie when it shows the birth of Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker together is just one of the emotional scenes which have ever existed in the Star Wars trilogy.Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith isn't the best from all the Star Wars trilogy but can be said to be the best of both prequels. George Lucas bravely enough to step forward and organize a story which was dark and gloomy, various characters filled with various emotional and feelings. The visual effects aren't excessive, some cameos which have some small details are also not too swaying for the aspect. This film is able to give a clear impression and meaning to the original story and is able to make the most important connection.

It's a meh, for me. AT LEAST IT'S BETTER THAN THE FIRST 2 PREQUELS

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith is enjoyable in its significance, due to the build up in story and the introduction of Darth Vader, but the weakest of the prequels in my opinion. The poor writing and illogical thinking of the characters is pretty hard to overlook. Palpatine basically telling Anakin he is a Sith Lord, then Anakin reporting it to Windu and Windu taking three Jedi's who die instantly and then Windu slowly striking at Palpatine while Anakin who Windu doesn't trust is standing next to him asking him not to kill him, to have him stand trial which is the Jedi way and Windu striking anyway. This whole part is quite horrible, poorly acted and ridiculously illogical. The Jedi's in this film die like flies, all just to get to the required point in the story. Obi-Wan on the other hand is terrific and almost single-handedly carries the film. Taking what might otherwise be laughable, to be tragic and yet still hopeful, as the next film is titled. Yoda's advice to Anakin was pretty bad also.Darth Sidious: Henceforth, you shall be known as Darth... Vader. Padmé: Anakin, you're breaking my heart! You're going down a path I cannot follow!Yoda: Into exile, I must go. Failed, I have.

Episode III depicted Anakin's final descent to the dark side, the culmination of Palpatine's plans for the previous two films (maybe not the intended plot of the film but I think Palpatine is the best character of the Original and Prequel series)It was a good film up to point, I can't say I care for the gushy romance scenes with Anakin and Padme. The fight scene at the start with Dooku was very good.
As it Episode II however Obi-Wan seemed again very feeble as he was too easily bested by the sigh Lord and pinned under the called platform (which curiously did no damage?)
The fight against Anakin was again perfectly choreograph he'd and Dookus defeat did not seem at all staged or implausible as in Episode II hen Anakin lost his hand.Anakin and Obi-Wan are separated by their roles in the ongoing Clone Wars, and Palpatine makes his final moves to turning Anakin. He slowly reveals himself to be a Sith Lord, first by introducing Anakin to the idea of studying the dark side - using Anakin's insecurities in his social life to confuse him further (specifically his dreams about Padme's death).
If Anakin had had his wits about him, he'd have caught the hint at his own heritage.
A Sith Lord capable of influencing the medicloreons to create life, and since Episode I it was known that Anakin was conceived by medicloreons - but he's too self-centred and sees only his own uses for the powers being described. Then Palpatine fully reveals himself as a Sith Lord, which Anakin reports to the Jedi Council as Palpaine knew he would. Knowing the temptation of the dark side powers was too irresistible, Anakin interrupted Mace Windu as he was about to kill Palpatine, saving the Sith Lord and causing Windu's death. For a toughened Jedi Master Windu did make a scene about loosing his hand - we have seen a lot of people losing limbs in Star Wars (Darth Mail was completely sliced in half an Episode I, Anakin lost a hand and part of his arm in Episode II, Dooku lost both hands earlier in this film, Anakin looses his other arm and both legs later in this film, Luke lost a hand in Episode V, and Anakin/Darth Vader's robotic hand is cut off in Episode VI)
But no-one made as much noise about it as Windu did.But back to Anakin and Palpatine. This too was part of Palpatines plan to turn Anakin; knowing he would be too distraught to turn to any Jedi after that betrayal, making Palpatine his only choice.Anakin then helped Palpatine destroy the Jedi Order as he had wanted all-along, thus allowing him to reorganise the Republic into a Galactic Empire.
Palpatine then even turns the Republics army, the Clones, against the Jedi while continuing the war.Having escaped the 'Jedi purge' Yoda faces Palpatine, however is defeated and chooses to go into exile. Meanwhile Obi-Wan faces Anakin. And here's where the film fails in my eyes:
Anakin and Obi-Wan fight in a long battle which ends with Obi-Wan cutting Anakin's arm and legs off and abandoning him to burn to death on Mustafar.
Palpatine then comes to Mustafar and saves Anakin from an otherwise certain and painful death and outfits him with a life support suit.
By this point Anakin had fulfilled his role in Palpatine's plan, therefore like Dooku and Darth Maul before him, Anakin should have been thrown aside - yes this would ,earn that Obi-Wan and Yoda where the only other force-users therefore it is unlikely Palpatine could get a new apprentice, but the Empire is his and the Jedi are defeated, so why would he need another apprentice anyway?
Palpatines compassion for Anakin weakened his character and showed him to be not as evil as he should be for a Sith Lord.Palpatine then tells Vader that Padme has died because of him. Saving Padmes life had been the underlying reason for Anakin turning to the dark side, so his despair at her death sealed him to Palpatines side.Palpatine then goes ahead with turning the Republic into an Empire and reforms the Clone army into an Imperial army with Vader at its helm.
Palpatine had shown in the past two films, and again here, that his true strengths were in politics so giving Vader command of his military thus free himself to manage the Empire was a smart decision.
