Reviews

Jeanskynebu the audience applauded
Ogosmith Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
Frances Chung Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
Brooklynn There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.
Peter Lind This is one of many (perhaps too many) documentaries about Steve Jobs, that mainly describes what happened to Apple Computer from 1977 to 2011 ... If you haven't seen any documentary, and have never heard about the birth of the Machintosh, or Steve Jobs' absence from Apple, then perhaps this documentary is for you. However, it brings absolutely nothing new to the story, and is mostly a long list of newspaper headlines, backed by publicly available image material, interspersed by not interviews, but soundbites by unknown people, who really likes Apple and Steve Jobs.In some ways it feels like an Apple commercial, like when even though the 2008-options backdating scandal is mentioned, it is quickly glossed over, as Steve Jobs "didn't understand the technicalities of the stock market" ... In other ways is feels like a religious cult celebrating itself, with praise disguised as documentary.Basically a waste of time, if you have seen just one Jobs/Apple documentary.
Marian20 Here is another documentary about the late Apple CEO entitled Steve Jobs: iGenius, which is also known as Steve Jobs:Visionary Genius. This can be found at YouTube so anyone with an internet connection will easily find it.It is just a 40+ minute documentary that provides the viewer more about how Jobs and his company - Apple Computer - have changed the world by providing us products such as those that are known the i- products like iMac,iPad,iPod and many others as well as Apple I,Apple ][ and Macintosh. It centers on his passion in providing these products as well as his contribution to the world. Interviews mostly with celebrities and many who have known him as well as that of Jobs himself provided the viewer an insight on what makes him tick and the mark that he has left in the field of technology and that of the world. There have been multiple documentaries made about the late Steve Jobs.Compared to those, this does not really provide the viewer something new as everything provided here is basically known to anyone who has an Apple product or that of the Apple enthusiast.Only someone with little knowledge about Jobs will certainly appreciate its contents.Overall,it was a documentary to put the man on the pedestal which I believe is no longer needed for he is already known as an icon to billions of people around the world.
Desertman84 Steve Jobs:Visionary Genius is almost an hour-long documentary about the late Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple Computer. It talks about his life marked by his contribution to the advancement of technology.Aside from that,it talks about his passion and ingenuity have been the driving force behind the products that Apple such as the Macintosh,iPod,iPad,iMac and many others. While I categorize this documentary as decently made, there is nothing new to be learned as most of the information presented in it are probably already known by many before particularly Mac worshipers and Apple enthusiasts. For better documentaries,I would recommend Steve Jobs:The Last Thing and Steve Jobs:The Lost Interview. As for more information about the Jobs, just read Walter Isaacson's biography about the icon.
