While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

I've liked Andrew McCarthy since high school when he played in Mannequin. But seriously, he is an awesome actor and he played his part very well in this movie. It's different because it was like a western flick to me and in the country for sure. I've been through Wyoming, but the only things I could remember about it were the high winds and wind advisories on the highway. I got to experience a camper shell flying right off someone's truck in front of me on the highway. I had to swerve to miss it! What a trip! Listen to the signs if you ever venture into Wyoming from Colorado on the main interstate heading into Cheyenne. They are truly no joke. But back to the movie, how sweet the story line was! A set up by a friend/roommate, a plane ticket to meet each other sent by a family member and neither one of them knew what was coming to them. Quality script! Thanks again Hallmark!

Andrew is truly great, he has aged wonderfully, must be a happy man in his personal life. I wonder why he agreed to do this film? The story is paper thin, it is shallow and corny (sorry for my bad English, it is my third language) The cutting of the movie is bad, the directing isn't very good, the stills shown are very bad. The scenery is beautiful, that much I do think. It should have been a calendar but that is all. Hope to see Andrew soon in something really great, he deserves that! Teri is doing her best but it looks like she is only keeping up appearances. Being a horse person myself I have to say: the horse stuff.... let me tell you it does not work like that - ever!! Their nice healthy horses very well trained and all, but this has nothing to do with real horsemanship, although Andrew has learned to ride nicely! Like I said, Andrew is the only gem in this rubble........

This is one great romantic movie. As a western movie lover, and one who sits well in a saddle, oh,and one who buys flowers for his wife, well at least twice a year, I think I qualify as a romantic. This movie gives me all of this and more.Terry Polo, who is in my top five female actresses hits this one out out of the park big time. She plays her role so well, you empathize with her every step of the way throughout the whole movie.McCarthy does a great job as a regular guy who has lost everything he has ever cared about in his life, and has a real hard time getting past it.What can I say about J. Kenneth Campbell in the scene at the grave site, when he puts Tyler's flowers in his vase and then breaks down.Yes and we even have B.J. and the Bear Greg Evigan one of my favorites,Patricia Kalember as Tyler's sister great job and David Jean Thomas loved him in this movie.I could go on,but I won't except to say that Polo does hit it out of the park twice as an actress and in the softball scene and the ending is great, it involves New York city a small colt and an offer.I own this movie and never tire watching it, I think you'll love it to.

What a wonderful movie and one that I would definitely recommend for anyone. It has won the spot in my heart for "My Favorite All Time Movie". The story was funny, heartwarming, and the acting was flawless. This is the type of movie that catches your attention and then you are spellbound for the rest of the movie. I hope they make a sequel, would love to see what happens next. Would also love to see more of Andrew McCarthy. I loved his performance (and I'm not one of the former Brat Pack fans). His performance in this film is his best yet - I would definitely recommend that viewers try to catch Andrew in his films as a mature man...you want be disappointed!
