I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible
Teddie Blake
The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Quiet Muffin
This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
Phillipa
Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

I saw this film in Sydney back in 1991. I remember enjoying it, but I always did have a strange taste in movies. As I'm writing this in 2003 I wonder what happened to it in the meantime. It was neatly summarised by a couple I overheard on leaving the cinema. He said something like "Only in a French movie would you get two naked people talking about their relationship for an hour and a half". That's exactly what happened in the film - but I don't recall being bored at any time. The amusing thing is that they begin the film naked and by the end they're both dressed. I'd love to see it again one day.
