Perfectly adorable

if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.

This movie is so bad and yet so funny at the same time that I found myself enjoying it from a humor standpoint. If you are expecting a serious film this one is not it. I would not be surprised if the filmmakers had three days to make this movie with a budget just over $50. I hope so anyway because if the budget was much bigger it would clearly be the worst piece of film work I have seen in my life time. OK, it is still the worst piece of film work on any budget.I am an amateur filmmaker and I can tell you that there is no excuse today for making a movie that looks as bad as this one does. The cinematography is pretty awful. I am easily able to better it with a camera kit that costs just over $1,000 without even putting much effort into it. Honestly with proper lighting techniques I am sure you could best a lot of what you see here with an Iphone camera. Perhaps the most annoying thing, and there are many, is the fact that the story takes place during the onslaught of a huge tornadic storm but all of the exterior shots feature blue sky and sunshine. There are several tutorials I have seen on how to make day shots look like night and some variation of these simple techniques would have helped a lot here. Some minor corrections in post with a cheap piece of editing software also could have done wonders. With the cost of cameras and editing materials today you can do much better then this.Putting aside the way the film looks however this is just a bad movie. Even if you have a better visual experience the acting, story, and visual effects are all pretty horrible. Like I said earlier if you go into this thinking that you want a laugh this might be a good experience. At the very least if you are a beginning filmmaker you will feel good watching this as I am sure your own stuff does not look this bad. If someone can get this work distributed as it is there is hope for everyone. Please just make a better movie then this!

Dear Asylum, How dare you introduce garbage like this to my television set. Truly your movies should be stamped with a large warning, "Careful! We really, really suck!" Honestly, does anyone on your staff know what they're doing? Is your mission statement nothing more than to pump out atrocity after atrocity as cheaply as possible? Now we know who picks up Hollywood's reject pile. Yeah, yeah, we know...at least you're making movies. What are we doing? Well, we're not embarrassing ourselves like you are, that's for sure. And we're also not dragging the movie industry into the toilet while we're at it. Good one, Asylum...flush another one down the pipes.

The writing was amateurish. That's assuming it was written ahead of time and not pieced together on the fly. The special effects were less than "special". In fact they were worst than a high school play (Why in such a bad storm is the sun always shining?). Casting was an embarrassment. The actors should be ashamed of themselves, especially Ming Na who is capable of much, much more. As for Nicholas Turturro...how they casted this part was a complete mystery. The Global Asylum is known for low budget films. This must have been one of the lowest. This movie is so bad, as to appear planned. And that's where I have to disagree with "ipiercexpo", but only on one point. This movie somehow also failed to be as bad as "Plan 9 From Outer Space".

I was curious and had little else to do, so I tuned in to Super Cyclone, not expecting much but at least some watchability. In evaluation there is nothing really watchable about Super Cyclone. If there are two things at all that sank Super Cyclone the most, I have to most definitely agree with that it was the special effects and the acting. Okay I knew the special effects were not going to be great, they rarely are in low-budget movies, but you do expect to see some kind of effort. These efforts actually look as though they weren't even trying, everything looked cheap and unfinished and even when against the choppy editing and dully lit settings they looked incredibly fake. If you are looking for the worst representation of rain in any movie, look no further than Super Cyclone. And no I'm not kidding. The acting is some of the worst I've ever seen, I have to agree that to call the acting terrible is an insult to the word terrible. The only person to actually looks as though they are trying is Ming-Na, and she's only okay here. The story is another major disadvantage in Super Cyclone. No surprises, no suspense, no thrills, no sense of fun are to be found in the entire movie, considering that these are what makes a good disaster movie to say that this was a major problem is being too generous. There are far too many frustratingly stupid or insultingly unrealistic moments, it is paced in a pedantic fashion, the disaster scenes are so lifelessly done and predictable and the emotional moments are very forced, giving you little more than a who cares? vibe. The characters are stereotypical(all the disaster movie clichés and done terribly), are too bland in development to be remotely relateable to any audience and are made to do obnoxious things that not only makes you hate the character but also makes the scene further unbelievable until it was so hard to stomach. Then there is the dialogue which reeks of cheese and awkwardness, flat direction and very generic music. In conclusion, the only thing that is a disaster is the movie itself. 0/10 Bethany Cox
