SteinMo What a freaking movie. So many twists and turns. Absolutely intense from start to finish.
Taraparain Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
Rio Hayward All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Roman Sampson One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.
sinnister-32365 I gave it a 10 just because it was filmed in my hometown. I still see the flat black 75 nova driving around town once in awhile. Its a decent film. I like the killer car idea. Reminds me on the movie The Car.
welshtrekker Seems reviewers here missed the point or simply do not really get the horror genre, its eclectic mix of thresholds, how it can transform quickly and how it is not just about Brad Pitt killing zombies.True horror movies take what we view as ordinary, run-of-the-mill, and take that to a place, usually a dark place, and present something totally unexpected. Here is a movie that does just that. Believe me, when you see how this movie goes, you will be glad you sat down to watch it. Here we have a killer sentient car, able to transform into other car models (wow...what a paint job!) at will, and tempts people to sit inside - to consume their flesh. Following an accident, the battered car is towed into a Chicago police impound garage. For the employees trapped inside, it is a fight for survival against a malicious being...The car from hell idea is no newbie to the horror genre but what this film does with the idea - sure is folks! I am not adding spoilers here.I love horror movies where the evil transcends from the usual: the serial killer, the thing in the lake, the alien beings, the possession... That's all been there, done that, and few films manage to bring something new with those premises. So, when I read about a killer car morphing into other car shapes and outwitting humans - I just had to see it. Last time I saw a killer car idea as good as this one was actually called The Car, a 70s horror movie. The simple premises are always the best ones in this genre. This one goes into overdrive and pits steel against bone in 90 mins of pure thrill time.
iso-mail There's only one word to describe this film accurately: STUPID!! This film makes no sense, the genius who wrote the screenplay must be 5 years old or less. The dialogs sound like a bunch of lunatics who just speak about random subjects that have nothing to do with what's going on, and the most stupid detail is the explanation one of the characters finds to what's going on: it was something he had already studied in school!! Amazing how someone actually paid to have this movie done. 1hour of my life lost forever (yes, at the end I was just doing fast forward)! I gave it 2 stars but after writing the review I'm giving it only one...
kosmasp ... movie? I think I meant something else, but having watched this at the Fantasy Film Festival I can tell you there is a reason why it has not been released yet. And it's not anything positive either. On the other hand, this could be the perfect party movie (I won't say ever though). A movie to rival your favorite "It's so bad, it is actually fun to watch" movie.I'm not sure if the actors would like to have that on their CV (especially Oded F., who is the most recognizable after all), but then again they played in it, shouldn't they know what they did? Then again with CG and editing maybe they don't. And it all looks and feels very ridiculous. Dialogue is ... well let's say another part of the whole "Party" feeling. The strangest thing is, that the movie tries to play it straight, when in fact it is so ridiculous ... If that was on purpose, than I might have underestimated it ...
