RamblerReb I caught this little movie last night when there was nothing else to watch, mostly because of Jennifer Morrison. Routh did a passable Christopher Reeve impression again, though honestly I never found Reeve to be that compelling an actor, and based on the few comedies I have seen Reeve in, I would say that Routh is actually better as a light comedian. On the one hand, if you've seen Switching Channels (an ill-advised '80s remake of His Girl Friday), you'll realize that ain't saying much, but light comedy is actually one of the most difficult things to pull off, and the fact that Routh manages to be funny at all is an accomplishment. It may seem unfair to compare Routh and Reeve outside of a Superman film, but Routh took the role and he's stuck with the comparison. Not to mention Routh looks and sounds a lot like Reeve.The nutty couple are indeed nutty, and manage to be funny without being too annoying to watch, the supporting players (including the boyfriend from Roseanne) are competent, and Morrison was engaging and charming, quite believable as someone you'd chase to Oregon or wherever the hell.Where this film falls down is pacing and story. The framing story of Routh sitting in the bar relating the events thus far is poorly constructed, with the story taking so long between returns to the bar that you forget the framing device and are jarred by the transition back to the "present." Too much of the film takes place after leaving the bar. Quicker pacing would have helped the end not drag so badly and leave such gaps between jokes.Bottom line, watchable, but not re-watchable, unless your other choice is a Rosie O'Donnell movie or something similarly sickening.

Eyahf_21 Table for three story about a guy named Scott (Brandon Routh) who look for a roommate eventually found by a couple named (Ryan) Jesse Bradford (and Mary(Sophia Bush)and eventually turn his world upside down. They introduced Scott to Leslie (Jennifer Marison)and eventually sabotage their relationship.The storyline was really good, its simple yet entertaining. I'm was kinda surprised with the IMDb ratings but anyway, I really enjoyed this movie.This was very entertaining. The actors were really good, they're so funny. The script were really written well. Each actor portrays well their character especially the couple, they're very entertaining.The four lead characters really have a great chemistry. Its worth watching for. Two Thumbs up to everybody whose part of the success of this movie. *cheers*+++

Arrica Lee Some glitches here and there are unavoidable. For a teen like me, I would be sleeping halfway through the show has it not been Brandon Routh's beautiful face on the screen. Of course, compliments have to be given out to Brandon Routh for trying his hands on romance. He's not bad you know. He still has to work on his randomness though. I applaud him for trying out different genres. That will do him some good. Sophia Bush acts crazy here amid his serious character in One Tree Hill. I kinda' like it, you know how easily she can just put the character in line and make it seem so real. The ending is a little cloudy with no indication whether the couple is really crazy and they will come back to haunt Scott or not but that's another story. I will leave it to the director to figure that out. But, I was thinking that it would make a good horror movie you know. A couple who is mad in love with each other and just need a friend to make topics more interesting and when the friend starts to leave them for another girl, they decided to kill the girl. You know, that could make a good movie. LOL!

bass_addicted_xxl This one was too romantic for an r-rated comedy, too r-rated to be a romantic comedy and just too unfunny to be a comedy. But I'm basically okay with this genre uncertainty, this is not the main reason I hated the movie. The main reason is that the movie is annoying as hell from start to finish. 'The crazy couple' is really annoying with their over the top performance, and the superman guy is annoying being too good. All other characters in this movie, including Scott's love interest, are almost non-existent. The movie delivers one or two mediocre laughs which I'm sure you'll remember, but all in all it's not worth watching. Even 'Cable Guy' which has a somewhat similar plot is better.
