Anand L Rai has become one of my favourite directors! Himanshu sharma and Anand L Rai are the best in the business!
The story is So amazing you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll smile...
Kangana Ranaut has done perfection with both her roles!
No other actress would have done justice to the role!

I did not really feel up to watching Tanu Weds Manu Returns as I felt that Kangana Ranaut is somewhat stereotyped in such roles and it is tiresome to watch beyond a certain number of such movies.Last night I had nothing better to do and Tanu Weds Manu Returns was playing on TV. It was the best of the movies on offer and so I ended up watching. I'm glad I did as it was, rather is, a very good movie indeed. The movie begins dramatically with Manu stuck in a loony bin, having been driven there by Tanu's ways. Kangana plays a double role and she plays both characters very well indeed. All the actors are superb but this is really Kangana's movie for the double role. The cinematography and the sets are beautifully real. There is never a dull moment as the story unfolds with its quirks, humour and several poignant moments. I do not intend to write a spoiler so suffice it to say that this movie is really very good and well worth watching.

The movie might not be a Interstellar in terms of script but it has all the ingredients necessary to be a movie of worth, powered by wonderful acting performances and a decent script. Tanu Weds Manu Returns, the second of the franchise doesn't disappoint and is a mass entertainer which fortunately isn't a stereotype Bollywood movie. Refreshing dialogues catch your mind and the movie goes on effortlessly. Apart from a few dull sections and glitches in the movie, the direction is good and the pace of the film is optimum. The thing that fuels the movie is some excellent acting. Madhavan goes about his job seamlessly and does what was expected of Manu. Deepak Dobriyal sets the stage on fire with great comic timing and dialogue-delivery. Jimmy Shergill also looks strong, manly and pulls off Raja Awasthi as he did in the previous installment. Ayyub( playing Chintu), Swara Bhaskar and Kusum's uncle are excellent and deserve to be mentioned and get noticed in the film. The movie rests on Kangana's shoulders as the only major star in the movie and she does full justice to the movie. Kangana as Kusum takes the limelight with tremendous Haryanvi accent that connects to you instantly. Kusum is the character you will come out of the movie with. This movie is certainly worth a watch.

Make me feel so proud when a gem like this comes every once in a while. From the start to finish the film keeps momentum. What great acting by everyone especially the talented Ms Kangana, absolute joy. Makes me feel very proud of our heritage and I just loved the Delhi setting (the real Delhi & village life too). Most of us are fed so much drivel with expensive and exotic locations/make believe fantasy rubbish these days, including over acting superstars that its films like these that remind us what is good about the industry.Great acting, brilliant direction, locations, cinematography and music. Just do your self a favour & watch with your other half (if you have one that is - if not, still watch it.)We need to support productions like this. Great film and I hope you all enjoy it.
