Michael Velayudham is a chef specialized in Italian cuisine in Cape Town. He falls in love with Meera Sasthri - another Indian staying in Cape Town. Meera is a restoration specialist and she is moving to India. Since it is not possible to continue the relationship across the seas, they bid good bye to each other. Michael finds a local white girl in Cape Town and Meera finds a local politician back in India. The rest of the story is all about how their true love unites them despite them being so casual about their relationship. There is also another story dealing with Arjun Palwai that runs parallel with a time difference of 30 years in Waranasi.

Reviews

RyothChatty ridiculous rating
Matialth Good concept, poorly executed.
Stephanie There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes
Francene Odetta It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
sainath-pattipati This movie is REMAKE of BOLLYWOOD super hit movie LOVE AAJ KAL.Pawan Kalyan was the obvious choice for the role of SAIF ALI KHAN. But Trisha was not right Choice. She looked very old for the Character she played.Jayanth had done minor changes in the Story to suit the STAR image of Pawan Kalyan but Failed to create the Magic in LOVE AAJ KAL.With the STAR cast available for the movie , Jayanth should have tried better to adopt it to TOLLYWOOD.Though the Flash back story was GOOD, The love story between PK and Trisha, Dialogues in Foreign languages Spoiled the Movie. If you already watched LOVE AAJ KAL and liked it .. then better to avoid this movie.if not you can give a try for the flash back love story.Jayanth might have tried the foreign language dialogues to make it stylish but it did not create the required style quotient in the movie.
Sree Kiran TEENMAAR review Opening statement: breezy love stories that declares generational differences The case: the love stories of Micheal and arjun. The fate: when two characters are involved, there must be ample scope for editing and narration Evidence: The movie being similar to many old movies, has same old formula of love stories never stay forever. But in this case, it is clear and teenmaar has two love stories. On one side Micheal who has lot of girl friends and starts loving meera , but after 1 year they split up. Micheal listens to the story of arjun and how he had his chance for love. The two generations are different and trends are different , but yet love stays the same. Micheal realizes his mistakes and goes for meera. What happened to meera? Is she waiting for Micheal or settled herself is the story!! Coming to the point, the movie story is good. But the narration is perfect. Screenplay is good connecting both stories at a time. The movie has many evidences , to make it a very good film. Firstly is the screenplay, one can get perfect screenplay here. No where you find instances where the movie goes on the slow side. Once such cases occur, director immediately shifts the story towards next character. The last 30 minutes of the movie is real asset. Nice emotional filled dialogs , in the marriage scene will give the grip to the movie. Secondly is the music and the best 3 songs are perfectly picturized. Every song has a character and life in it. Thirdly , is the acting skills of pawan kalyan especially as arjun palwai. Trisha as meera , especially in second half last 20 minutes. She definitely showed her skills. Fourthly is the camera work especially the locales of Varanasi.Judgement revealed: the movie stands different among others. Nice entertainer with hints of emotional content and pleasing climax.Comments: some illogical stunts in the climax and over acting of Micheal in the first half. Average direction to some extent in first half. Final statement: teenmaar is a generational love story that will appeal the youth and current audience. The old may not be satisfied with the content and children are too innocent to understand this concept. Verdict: not guilty
lavanya-palaparthy Why its a No! 1. Trisha is just not cool enough to pull off Meera's role! The grace, grandeur the role needed, is lacking! Mr. Jayanth - why didn't you think of Ileana? Date problems, may be ? :) 2. Pawan kalyan's Italian - I mean, WHAT WAS THAT? Was that Italian, Spanish, English? Hmmm.. something to ponder upon! And for some reason, this actually turns Trisha on (apparently!) 3. Chef - really? A chef who doesn't cook, who cannot flirt, who instead of serving his customers - eats! Chef, Really ??? May be ...... photographer? 4. Kriti's excessive make up - If you were looking at launching a fresh face, choose one who is already beautiful! Not just bring someone out of the blue, put oodles on make up on her and thrust her on our faces. 5. Sonu Sood - This chap who gave stellar performance as Pasupathi in Arundhati and Chedi Singh in Dabangg - was totally underplayed in this one! Director saab - learn to use your resources well! And .. Why its a yes! 1. I have to admit, I loved Pawan's designer label collection in the movie. Just one piece of advise - Please act your age, if you cant pull off acting 10 years younger. 2. Trivikram's magic - "Salim Anarkali, Laila majnu laanti great lovers avvalante, chaavakkarledu Meera!" This dialogue was enough for the audiences to fill the theatre with whistles! 3. Pawan's power punch dialogues in the Varanasi story - Everything suited him in that role - his dressing, attitude, dialogue delivery and his screen presence! 10/10 to Pawan for doing justice to at least 50% of the movie 4. Songs - Mani Sharma's magic moments kept the movie going. 5. Story - Imtiaz Ali who wrote the original story is a genius - Pawan and Jayant have given 100% story credit to Imtiaz though they have changed the screenplay and execution! All in all, go watch it for Pawan and you wont be totally disappointed!
johnnyvas007 First of all congratulations for coming back with a beautiful movie after the disastrous failure of Komaram puli at the Box Office. The movie is an actual remake of the Bollywood movie " love Aaj kal" and the Director made some fine changes to the story adapting it to the Tollywood conditions. The first-half of the movies was OK.. with some fine songs and some good conversations. The second half of the gained the momentum especially the last 30 minutes were hyper fun...All credit to Pawan kalyan for his wonderful timing and splendid action. he literally took all the responsibility of entertaining the audience through out the movieTrivikram's Dialogs helped the movie really well and he is always good at that...overall "Teenmaar" is a joy to watch and perfectly suits its caption (celebration of Love).Don't miss it ... cheers
