Matialth Good concept, poorly executed.
LouHomey From my favorite movies..
Siflutter It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.
Mischa Redfern I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
ELENI I believe this role should have been played from Audrey Tautou she looks like Audrey Hepburn , she is so sweet also . Same name, similar look and Audrey Tautou is an excellent actor. Anyway a biography film cannot replace the person Audrey Hepburn, a blank will always exist because these were the gold years of cinema and as the years were passed , cinema's quality gets poorer and poorer. Of course there are many great actors and Jeniffer is one of them perhaps she wasn't the best choice for this role but she is also giving us great films. We shouldn't be tough with the actors sometimes they are humans sometimes they are doing some bad choices in their career. Although anyone would like to give by acting life to a legend , it takes courage to do it and the result is unexpected always .
ktha-misc Audrey Hepburn is someone who deserves an amazing actress to portray her. The bar is set pretty high by her, and unfortunately this movie fails to meet that expectation. Why not have chosen someone with actual talent and a graceful presence like Audrey's? JLH was a horrible choice for this role. She did not fit the role, and is a terrible actress to boot. She was unable to tackle such a charming, beautiful character.Natalie Portman, Kate Beckensale, there's a slew of other actresses who would have been much better in the role.Casting can make or break a movie... so this one gets a 2/10.
THOMAS C. RIZZO, JR. While Eric McCormack as Mel Ferrer never shakes his Will Truman persona, Jennifer Love Hewitt is shockingly good as Audrey Hepburn, far better than I ever imagined she could be. For an actress with relatively limited talent, she does an amazing job of capturing the actress' essence and slightly-accented voice. The film is a fairly accurate retelling of the actress' life and career, although the story doesn't extend beyond the filming of "Breakfast at Tiffany's." Whoever submitted the goof claiming Hepburn and her father reconciled and were close until his death goofed himself - although after reuniting with him in Ireland she sent him financial support on occasion, he remained emotionally aloof and never acknowledged her success, privately or publicly. As biopics go, this is a fairly straightforward and rather dull account, only because Hepburn's personal life and career were scandal-free, with no "Mommie Dearest" dirt to spice things up.
abbeyplayers17 This movie was great!! I know for a fact for I have read all the booksever written about Audrey Hepburn. It shows the main points of Audrey's life and I think Jennifer Love Hewitt played the part perfectly. Not only is she petite like Audrey was she looks a lot like Hepburn I don't anybody else could of played the part better than JLH.Natalie Portman would of sucked in the role because she doesn't look or sound a bit like Ms.Hepburn. I thought the great details in the voice JLH used was wonderful. The extent that the film showed of Audrey's early childhood showed that she had a hard time in Holland and that most of her childhood she was fatherless I find that Audrey was very lucky to have a mother that supported her through what ever she sought out to do. And that when looking for love it did not matter if the man had money or not because she turned down that one man to keep working on Broadway. As I said JLH couldn't of down a better job.
