muchiemix I must admit, I'm getting addicted to Spanish flicks. This movie was cleverly written, well-acted and the result was just too good. There are many twists to the plot, which keeps you guessing (wrongly) right until the end.

Thanos Karagioras "The Body" is a mystery thriller movie in which we watch a detective searching for a body of a very beautiful well-off and important businesswoman with a lot of friends but also some enemies which disappeared. After her death that under some very strange circumstances is believed that it was a result from a heart attack, the body of this woman was disappeared from the morgue. Now a detective who is trying to fight his own demons has to find her body and solve this very mysterious case.I liked this movie because it has to do with a dark, mysterious story that clears up in the end. The direction which was made by Oriol Paulo was simply amazing, with many good scenes and of course many surprises. The plot of this movie didn't let me down not even one moment since it had many twists that I couldn't even imagine. Another important reason why this movie is so good, is the interpretations of the cast. Especially the interpretations of José Coronado who played as Jaime Peña and he was simply amazing at his role, Belén Rueda who played as Mayka Villaverde and Aura Garrido who played as Carla Miller. Finally, I believe that "The Body" is a very good movie and I strongly recommend for everyone to see it because I am sure that you are going to have a very good time since it's a very mysterious movie, with many twists and surprises that I believe they will keep you intense. I also believe that because of the plot of it and of course the interpretations of the cast you won't be disappointed by it.

lifelinespublishing After watching "THE INVISIBLE GUEST" by the same director, I didn't try to guess the ending because I knew I would be dead wrong again, haha.....the directing here is superb as always with Jamie and Alex exchanging beautiful lines.....there was some sort of empathy for Jamie Pena as he tried to be well after his wife passed away, which was very relevant in the story after all.., a must watch and can't wait for Oriol Paulo's next movie!! have watched the trifecta of his films along with Julia's Eyes..

The Couchpotatoes If you like intriguing movies where you try to figure out what happened then El Cuerpo is just the kind of movie you need to watch. I like mystery/thrillers, it's one of my favorite kind of genres, and most of the time you kinda figure out what happened before the end. But with El Cuerpo I didn't see it coming in a million years. And that's what makes this movie stand above the rest. Besides a good story, you of course need also good actors and good filming. Well all those ingredients are present in this movie. From the beginning till the end you are captivated by the story and wonder what really happened, with the end as the absolute climax. I will for sure watch this movie again in the future in the hope that I forgot about the story even though it's gonna be difficult. Highly recommended!
