Highly Overrated But Still Good

The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.

This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

Ulrike Folkerts and Barbara Rudnik at their best. At last, U.Folkerts playing something different than just the TATORT- Kommissar. Outstanding performance of both main actresses. The plot is nail-bitingly exciting, very realistic, too. I just wish they would publish the film on DVD. Then I would be able to watch it more often and to analyze it more properly. It was on TV last night (6th August 2007), but unfortunately I missed it and only saw the second half. The ZDF may broadcast the film again; they seem to do so every 2 years. This comment may not be of great help for you, but mostly I want to express how very much I like the film, especially because of the two female protagonists.
