rgabriela This movie biggest problem for me is: Jennifer Aniston. The woman simply cannot act. She doesn't know how to create/compose characters so she is basically herself in.every.movie. It's like watching a little "Jennifer Aniston reality show". And it doesn't work. It never works. No even for a romantic comedy such as this. In addition to Aniston's lack of acting skills there's the fact that she and Gerard have ZERO chemistry together. It's almost painful to watch. Charlize Theron, Sandra Bullock, Olivia Wilde... even Sofia Vergara would've been more appropriated for the part. Anyone but Aniston. The good part is Gerard Butler. I'd say it watch it only if you a fan of his work and endless charm.

alindsay-al I like Gerard butler, I like Jennifer aniston so I should have liked the bounty hunter. But boy this film is awful and really really hard to watch. The premise of this film sees a bounty hunter sent out to capture a felon and bring her to prison but it turns out to be his ex wife. Now as I said I like butler and he was the beat thing about this movie as he had a couple of funny moments. But his character was very one dimensional and you won't care about him because the film gives you absolutely no reason to care about him. Jeniffer aniston is the same, their chemistry is pretty good but her character has very few likable characteristics for you to like her. I am a fan of Jason sudekis but he did not have one funny moment in this film and I hope he isn't remembered for this performance. Also the villains have nothing to them and I'm not even sure they were necessary for this film. The story of this film is really bland, it is just a simple road trip film and you have seen everything here before. It provides nothing new and no excitement at all. The script is bad the comedy just doesn't hit. I don't remember laughing at anybody in this film. Also the dramatic moments are really forced in the film and you won't care about any of them. The style is as cliché as possible, it is your road trip film and it does nothing to make it interesting. Also the action scenes have absolutely nothing to them. Overall this is a terrible movie that should not be seen.

Sure, the clichés are foreseeable & there are some flaws here, especially in the film's tepid initial moments, but the pace gathers momentum & the fun quotient powers up. I wasn't bored here, in fact, I laughed at many parts.Sarah Thorp's Screenplay is brisk, though it begins on a dull note. Andy Tennant's Direction is pretty decent. Cinematography is eye-filling. Editing is tight. Action-Sequences are average.Performance-Wise: Jennifer Aniston & Gerard Butler are the life of 'The Bounty Hunter'. Both of the talented actors play their parts very well & share a great on-screen chemistry throughout. A Special Mention for the terrific Jason Sudeikis, who's truly funny in a supporting role.On the whole, 'The Bounty Hunter' may not be amazing, but its good, breezy entertainment nevertheless.

sgtGiggsy I don't understand why reviewers hated so much this film. It's a typical romantic comedy, with a little action, and an okay investigation part. I don't say it's an exceptionally good mix of these things, but still a really enjoyable one. The plot isn't very original, generally it's a witty love story of two people who used to love each other very much, but now can't stand each other. Actually it has some similarities with the earlier Jennifer Aniston movie 'The Break-up' just it's much better. The jokes are funnier, the plot doesn't consist the drama which isn't needed in a romantic comedy, and the chemistry between Aniston and Butler is far-far better. I think some people may expected more from this movie than this actually is. If you look for an easy to enjoy comedy, and not the finest of the movie history, it's a good choice for you. If you like good, not chick-flick type romantic comedies, try it, and I promise you won't be disappointed.
