Laikals The greatest movie ever made..!
Afouotos Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
InformationRap This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
Kayden This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
Autumn Maria Reed The Cheetah Girls was a good movie. Although predictable, I thought it was a decent film. 4 New York teens in an all girl singing group was a neat story with a lot of style and talent. It was nice to see urban and diverse girls on mainstream television. Sometimes, television movies have a habit of strictly showing "common" people (no offense intended). I like how this movie was exposed to many children of all backgrounds. Lynn Winfield, a great actress, was good as Raven's mother. I like the fact how the main character was of mixed origin. That made the character seem more realistic. It may have been a cheesy, yet inspiring story, I still would recommend seeing it.
vlad_tepes97 Maudlin mAudlin maUdlin mauDlin maudLin maudlIn maudliN Sickeningly maudlin!!!!Four girls with questionable entertaining ability want to make it big in the music business. Not a new story. My daughter loves this movie, but then again, she loves everything from Disney. I think I'm neglecting my duty as a parent by not locking out this channel. The movie is quite ludicrous and really strains the will. I failed the test and finally had to run out of the room leaving my daughter rapt. I tried not to pay any attention to the, but I can see and hear the TV from the kitchen. Several times I had to laugh aloud, not because something funny had happened on the screen, but because something so mind-numbing had happened that I had to choose between laughing and screaming. The only person not trying to talk "urban" (read: American Black) all the time was Raven Pearman, and that gets old really fast. The straw that broke this camel's back was the ultra-maudlin last scenes with the dog in the hole. I moaned and protested audibly when the news crew arrived, when the police spoke in such urgent tones about shutting down power, when Raven started pleading into the camera, and finally, when she started singing. I didn't wait for the others to pick up the cue and start harmonising. That's when I ran out the door.
waterfalluvr i thought the cheetah girls are really good singers. they looked real cute in their outfits at the end when they went to the competition, i wish i could go to Barcelona Spain. i liked how Chanel dressed at the end of the movie, i like how all the cheetah girls dressed. they dress nice in the whole entire movie. i love how they sing. the cheetah girls are really cool, i like them more than Hillary Duff. if i had enough money i would hire them to play music for me every day. my other comments are that i hope that they continue to make more movies as this was very entertaining and fun to watch. i watch the cheetah girls on cable TV every single day, i liked the spice girls a lot, but the cheetah girls are my number one favorite of all time....
kristin_t123 Most of this movie is totally unrealistic-- (besides the unlikely plot, the girls wear couture and are perfectly coiffed and made up at all times), but there is something about this movie that transcends the usual saccharine crap they try to spoon feed kids. The 4 girls are of varying ethnicities, and have varied backgrounds, talents and personalities. They get annoyed with each other, self advocate and are able to make mistakes and learn from them. Their friendship endures despite problems they experience, and the girls stay true to themselves throughout. It is a refreshing alternative to the movies that promote the message that girls get ahead by being passive or sexually objectified. A lot of this movie seemed so far fetched as to be ridiculous, but the characters were strong, talented and independent.
