Libramedi Intense, gripping, stylish and poignant
Lucia Ayala It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
Logan By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
SnoopyStyle Jackie Dorsey (Christy Romano) is the daughter of 1992 Winter Olympics Gold medalists Kate Moseley and Doug Dorsey. Moira Kelly and D.B. Sweeney don't return, and the roles are played by different actors. During the US Open, she does an unnecessary risky move, and gets a career threatening injury. While desperately refusing to retire, she switches from single to pairs enlisting the help of inline skater and potential boyfriend Alex Harrison (Ross Thomas). It's disappointing to have the connection to the first movie but not the actors to maintain that connection. Christy Romano and Ross Thomas are trying to recreate the chemistry of the first movie. They're not quite up to that level especially Ross Thomas. He's a pretty boy without twinkle in his eyes. This also stars Scottie (Ryan Hansen) as his best friend.
iloveUGA123 This movie was truly a disappointment. I absolutely loved the first one, and would definitely give it 10 stars! When I heard that there was a second one, I was really happy, and thought that I might enjoy it just as much as I enjoyed the first one. Well, I definitely did not!! Maybe if you just decided to watch this one and not the first one, you might like it, but to have watched the first one, and then this one, this should be a disappointment! First off they basically just copy lines and scenes from the first one, which makes it even worse, because the scenes aren't good in this movie. I have many other reasons, but to make it easier, it just wasn't good!! I mean I'm a girl who watches a lot of chick flicks, even bad ones and actually enjoy some of them! This one was horrible; so please, if your interested in this type of movie watch the first one, it is way better, funnier, and I promise you that you will enjoy it a lot more than you would enjoy this one!
mezo621 I love this movie but would like to make a few comments. I do not know why they did not use Sweeney and Kelly again. I think it always hurts a sequel when they change actors. Also the picture they used in the skating rink of the pair receiving the gold medal was wrong. The costumes where black and white. The stand-in they had for Ross Thomas had red hair and you could always tell when it was not him skating. Sorry but this is my opinion. Would love to see Thomas and Romano play in another movie but that never happens and don't ask how many times I have watched this movie. I just watched number 3 and was very disappointed in the fact that they implied that Jackie and Alex were not together. It ruined the second one. This movie will always be one of my favorites. Thank you for your attention. Lou
clairebear1225 I completely disagree that this movie is completely worthless. Yeah, there was some pretty bad acting, and the script wasn't all that great. But this movie is meant for the pre-teen and under crowd. Overall, it was a cute movie, and it had some good messages. At least in this movie, the girl doesn't give up her determination for the boy. She was still driven and provided a reasonable role model, once you get past her slight spoiled bratiness. Besides, even if Christy Carlson Romano kind of sucks, the guy in the movie is really hot, so it is definitely not a complete waste. I mean, what besides a hot guy to make a bad movie worth watching?
