It's a little odd, this movie. Especially the appearance of Lila's little sister. What's the point? Only to ruin Lila's wedding dress? That's all? It's really okay if she doesn't exist, anyway. I really hate her stupid and innocent expression. Makes me wanna punch her in her face. Sorry. And her mother, too? What's so intimidating about her that makes Tom so nervous around her? He is a jerk, for crying out loud! And what's so rich about Lila's family. I didn't see it is being exposed. They're just like any other standard family, to me.If I'm not mistaken. these guys used to be best friends in college. And then they meet again ten years later to attend Lila's wedding with Tom, who accidentally Laura's ex. Well, I have never had a friendship that long of time, but why I didn't see bond between them. Lila looks like an outcast among them. Like nobody really cares about her wedding. And the big question is, why Lila and Laura have to be in love with Tom, who is apparently doubtful, insecure and confused about his own choice. Weak! I hate him.To me, this movie is like another version of Rachel Getting Married or Margo at The Wedding. Not the same, tho. Just the ambiance. But I kinda like the ending. Thank a lot something spared me from being bored to death

This film is about seven friends' relationships. Actually I watched it for Josh Duhannel but I was bored while watching. I mean, I do not like really also people who watch it, wonders the end of the film. I do not think that everybody like this film and I do not know the reason. Actors and actress are very good but scenario is simple. So film is continuing slowly. The event of the film is unbelievable the challenge between two friends. These friends are jealousy towards each other. In fact, other friends namely except three friends are closing very much. This situation is weird. When a person asks me 'do you like this film?', I answer that this film is neither good nor bad. I did not understand the end of the film and it is nonsense. Nevertheless, the romantics can watch. The best thing in this film is musics, it is quite fine. As well, after watching, I'm very fond of this song 'The bird and The bee'. I suggest this song, at the same time this film mentions about strange relationships between friends. Namely everybody might watch it in free time and a person who does not watch it, does not lose anything.

Why did I watch this? Why did these otherwise good actors spend time making this movie? What was anybody thinking? No, really, what a previous reviewer said is true. There is no chemistry between anybody: none of the best friends, the bride and groom, or the two people who are supposedly really in love: the groom and his jilted girlfriend/now a bridesmaid. Anna Paquin looks vacant through most of the movie; Katie Holmes acts like she can quite be bothered to actually act her part; Candace Bergen is wasted here (not drunk, but her talent is wasted); in one scene where the camera lingers lovingly on the faces of the proud parents of the groom -- Candace B. and someone I didn't know -- the father looks like someone just poked him and hissed "Here! Smile here." The ending just stinks; it left me asking "What the hell was that?" Otherwise, it's great.

This film had such promise. The cast looked great and the story interesting. About half an hour in though I lost interest due to the dull dialogue and limp storyline. I was waiting for something exciting to happen but it never did. The ending was bizarre as you didn't get to find out what happened between the "love triangle", it simply finished. I suppose that was a lame attempt to be arty but it failed miserably. The whole point of these type of films is the happy ending we are waiting for, to leave the viewer high and dry is not arty it's just pretentious and annoying. If you have an hour and a half to spare don't waste it on this dreary film.
