I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.

It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.

The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

This is the story of a treasure in the desert so you get the picture: oasis, betrayals, tough raider, love interests ....Main interest lies in the extravagant cast: -Lex Barker was a poor man's Tarzan. He never had Weissmuller's popularity for that matter. He made a lot of adventures films in Europa, mainly in Italy.-Marpessa Dawn was the lovely heroine of "Orfeo Negro" but that part was the only one worthwhile in a shriveled career. She plays Barker's exotic love interest.-And last but no least the sadly missed Odile Versois.A very earnest thespian ,Marina Vlady's sister. Why on earth did she have to get involved in that business? She plays Barker's European love interest .Pleasant harmless moderately entertaining stuff.
