Yes, Karina's story crucial to the plot. I love the way that she get more and more distraught about the situasion and finally she donate her own life to show Adam the error of his ways "The syringe's heavy speech" is a poem i wrote about it. It's about Karina's story. Beatiful movie = 10/10

This film tells the story of a reality TV host, who witnesses a murder and a suicide on his program. Instead of being fired, the studio asks him to host a new game show, in which they do live broadcast of people committing suicide for money."This Is Your Death" is a very powerful film. It keeps me interested and engaged all along, because the lack of morality of the story is just too disturbing to ignore. It provokes thoughts and discussion regarding assisted suicide. The idea of broadcasting it live for TV ratings is a big moral and ethical question as well. The story is very disturbing and appalling, but the thing is that it is believable. It is a great film with an original and unbelievably gripping story.

To compare this to the masterpiece that is Network is an insult, this film is shallow and just plain stupid, the characters have no realism whatsoever because the majority of them lack the empathy of real human beings at least the ones behind the show, if you want to watch a film that has no grounding in reality with a bunch of suicide scenes and a the pointless message that making money off people's deaths is wrong then yeah enjoy, seriously I don't see the point? It's not shocking and it's not controversial it's just boring.
