Kattiera Nana I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
StunnaKrypto Self-important, over-dramatic, uninspired.
Ezmae Chang This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
modemanslutning This film is based on the other "Sällskapsresan"-films and it is highly recommended that you watch at least 2-3 of them before you watch this one.Summary: Stig-Helmer (Lasse Åberg) has now reached a high age, and as always, when people are close to the end they usually start thinking about the beginning. In this case we will follow how Stig found love for the first time when he is about 20 years old. SPOILERS and ANALYSIS: Stig-Helmer is kicked out of his home at an age of 19 by his parents so he moves in with his uncle, uncle's wife and cousin, and then later on starts working in his uncle's music shop.As usual Stig-Helmer is a wimp, and his cousin Hjördis (played by Tove Edfelt) is trying quite hard to make him less wimpish. The very little she does makes him a little bit more "wild" which is later attractive in the eyes of Annika, the girl who he has fallen in love with.To sum it up. This film was not that entertaining. The story was told at a slow pace and it felt like it needed quite a lot of work when it comes to the script. It is an embarrassment compared to i.e. "Snowroller" or the first film in the series. And the choice of music was horrenduous. It is obvious that the music editing in collaboration with the directing team were stuck in the 1980's, since the choice of music to represent teenagers was something similar to the 80's synth we can hear in Snowroller. They haven't updated their picture of young people for 25 years. That is a bit disrespectful, that they didn't even do research what 15 year olds listen to 2010 and then make music similar to that. The only really good things I can say is that I found the lighting to be great, and that the character Hjördis was really charming and likable. A cousin we all would like to have. Good acting by Tove Edfelt. This film gets 4/10. It is more of a 3/10, but I liked Hjördis so much.It is too slow, and the script is not original at all. But mostly. The other "sällskapsresan" films were about different Swedish stereotypes one may encounter and how they interact and behave in the same environment as other stereotypes, while the Stig character was just someone who was our anchor/protagonist so there was some main story to keep track on. This movie, compared to its predecessors, has barely any sidestories with Swedish stereotypes and that makes it break the magic that its predecessors had. Stig is not interesting enough as a character to have that much screen time dedicated to him. I know it's called "The Stig-Helmer Story". But the attempts of humour in this film and the storytelling overall is following the same pattern as the previous films. Except the stereotype thing that the others had.Its quite obvious that this was more of a personal project by Lasse Åberg than it was a film for the fans of the previous films. Unless you feel a strong connection with the character Stig, this film will be a disappointment if you expect something similar to the films before this one.
