Viktor Navorski is a man without a country; his plane took off just as a coup d'etat exploded in his homeland, leaving it in shambles, and now he's stranded at Kennedy Airport, where he's holding a passport that nobody recognizes. While quarantined in the transit lounge until authorities can figure out what to do with him, Viktor simply goes on living – and courts romance with a beautiful flight attendant.

Mjeteconer Just perfect...
Konterr Brilliant and touching
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Lidia Draper Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
harriseric-32698 The Terminal is a charming comedy drama by Steven Spielberg starring Tom Hanks as a man stranded in New York's JFK international for 9 months. He befriends many people much to the disdain of the officials of the airport played excellently by Stanley Tucci. The film is charming and Tom Hanks plays a hapless yet endearing man rather well- as he has done for so many years. Spielberg's direction is impeccable, it is amazing to think he can switch from big budget spectacles to dramas so effortlessly. The Terminal is an absolute must watch for fans of Spielberg or Hanks or good films in general.
Leofwine_draca THE TERMINAL is an example of Steven Spielberg at his most average as a filmmaker. This is a massive-budgeted production that features Tom Hanks delivering a typically pitch perfect performance as a likeable immigrant stuck at an airport, of all places, and yet compared to Spielberg's best work this is insignificant and ultimately hollow. There are a lot of light laughs en route to the climax, and some well judged supporting roles, but THE TERMINAL also has some serious flaws. A wooden Catherine Zeta-Jones as the shoehorned-in love interest is one of them, and Stanley Tucci's antagonist couldn't get any more bland if he tried. My advice is to watch this if you're a Hanks fan, but otherwise skip it.
Anjan Karki It is astonishing how a brilliant acting can make a simple story a great one. The terminal is a simple, a feel good movie. Watch it for Tom Hanks. I am sure you will enjoy it.
jonghoonkang How did the screenwriter of the film think about creating a story within the airport terminal? Especially, the international airport is a place where people feel a little bit more excited about going abroad or coming from abroad. There are many shops in the duty-free area of the airport terminal and many people work from early morning until late. There are also police, customs, airlines, banks and so on. That is to say, it feels like a big city. There are also huge commercial aircraft that are worth seeing. In addition, people of small countries who can not speak English, a little love story, New York jazz bar and so on.It is a film that makes the viewer smile consistently. This film is a perfect match for a family with a comfortable winter evening.PS: Thanks for reading. Please understand that my English is not good. ^
