A fantastic depiction of Stephen Hawking's life! Based on fact, this was such an emotional film for me, especially with Eddie Redmayne's phenomenally good portrayal as Stephen. Heartbreaking. One of my favorite films of the year.

Eddie Redmayne as Stephen Hawking is brilliant. This biopic has given the layman an illustration of the universe master, Stephen Hawking, how he was as a child,as a student, as a lover, as a husband and as everything. For those of us who are in awe of Stephen and his works, this film is a pretty close depiction of the man and his defiance of his debilitating condition which makes us all wonder if he could have lived longer to see some of his theories proven true. An awesome, humbling film.

Before I start to write this review, I penned this as a tribute to Stephen Hawking who has succeeded to change the world with his genius mind. His death on March 14, 2018, was the day that the world is lost one of the most influential geniuses in history. Rest in peace, sir.The Theory Of Everything is a biography film that tells about the romance life between Stephen Hawking and Jane Hawking. If The Imitation Game is a biopic movie that took the story of a genius named Alan Turing, The Theory of Everything is everything. Both of these films are also top Oscar-winning competitors. In this film, we will see a life of Hawking who's for several centuries struggled to fight his illness while continuously searching for a simple equation. Finally, he achieved to find it even though he also had to sit in a chair by talking using a computer. This movie is a biography movie that's a bit of romance, it's kinda sad but charming in it.The Theory Of Everything is a biographical film that is charming in the heart but gives the sadness impression to tears. Probably because I watched it right on the day of Stephen Hawking's death so the movie got stuck in my heart. Eddie Redmayne and Benedict Cumberbatch are actually best friends where Benedict Cumberbatch also starred in a TV movie called Hawking in 2004. Benedict was one of the first actors to star in a scientist. In 2015, they both won an Oscar award in both films. Eddie Redmayne in The Theory Of Everything and Benedict Cumberbatch in The Imitation Game. I've also watched these movies and there are some differences that I notice here. If The Imitation Game discusses Alan Turing with his invention breaking the enigma code, The Theory Of Everything discusses everything. However, not all are related to physics or science things. Both films also have romance spice in it but The Theory of Everything is way too far to discuss it. I also didn't hesitate that Eddie Redmayne's acting is so brilliant and amazing in this movie. For several months, he had known Stephen Hawking even met face to face and studied all of his interviews. So serious as playing a genius physicist, he finally deserved it. He was awarded an Oscar in the category of Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role. His acting was so epic from his physical, gesture, gimmick, how he spoke, to his emotions. We resemble to see the original Stephen Hawking and indirectly regarding the story of his real life. Felicity Jones is also the same as Eddie Redmayne. Her character is so emotional, patient, understanding, and strong to face many problems. Starting from her flawed husband, taking care of her children, to gain her commission, Felicity Jones shows everything that we are taught how true love is.James Marsh shows a cinematography that impressed an authentic fascinated footage as making real-life of Stephen Hawking. He also gives a little savor that produces a small documentary film. In the adaptation of a book written by Jane Hawking, Anthony McCarten took up 10 years to turn a book into a screen. At the end of the film as well, Stephen Hawking also agreed to slip his voice at the end of the movie. In fact, he also assumes that the total of the film is real, nothing exaggerated and he seems to watch himself again. This film also surely managed to create a market and the peoples who like the mainstream movies. But, I don't accept the fact. The film shows all the life of Stephen Hawking from romance to his struggle against his illness with a few physics theories including his book, A Brief History Of Time. The movie mostly focuses on the romance story alone and doesn't really peel back the illness and suffering of the character. However, I don't think it as a flaw. I also love the composer, Jóhann Jóhannsson who creates a charming but memorable sound in our mind. The Theory Of Everything is a biopic movie that explores the whole life of Hawking and his wife in an emotional yet complex way. Although the duration of the movie is two hours more, this film is not boring at all because it discussed a little related to physics and anything else. With brilliant acting from Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones, The Theory Of Everything seems to show the genuine life of the most influential physicist, Stephen Hawking. James Marsh with his cinematographic impression of documentation and Jóhann Jóhannsson with his charming music, thanks for being one of the people who made the world revolution.
