Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.

This is a very low budget horror flick, with a cheap look to it and some simple writing and characters. However when it comes down to its horror elements, this movie is being surprisingly effective, which is the reason why I couldn't hate on this movie, no matter how bad or silly things could get at times.Perhaps it's simply because I have seen far worse but as an horror lover I was definitely pleased enough with this movie. It seems to have what so many other modern horror flicks are lacking; some actual good horror. It sounds strange but the Tooth Fairy character is being one great murderous and monstrous character in this movie. But why the tooth fairy looks and sounds like a guy, even though she is clearly said to be a female movie in this movie, is still beyond me. But nevertheless the character provides the movie with all of its suspenseful moments, as well as its most brutal ones. Yes, this movie is actually surprisingly gory and graphic, despite it not being the most convincing gore you'll ever see. It's all really the reason why this movie is such a perfectly watchable one, since the movie really doesn't have an awful lot else going for it. Clumsy directing, bad writing, flat characters, bad acting. it's a movie that is being filled with some bad and silly moments but it yet really isn't one that ever bores or annoys you. You just go with the flow of this movie and when doing so you will start to appreciate it for what it is after a while, even with all of its flaws and weaknesses. The movie made me wonder about one thing though; why do horror movies so often feel the need to have a young child character in it? Just look at all of the horror movies made in the past 40 years or so. Really a lot of them feature a kid in a prominent role in it. Is this a trend that first started out with the success of "The Exorcist"? But what is the entire idea and logic behind it? It would be an interesting subject for a study. But anyway, nothing wrong with kids in horror movies, only problem is that child actors just aren't often among the best ones. Also the moments with the kid in this movie are definitely among the more bad and silly moments of the movie. Seriously, this kid is doing stuff no normal kid would ever do in a situation like this and also the parents handle it in a completely awkward and unlikely way, that constantly puts the kids life at danger. You could talk bad all you want about this movie and also for a good reason but to me this movie still remained an effective horror, that delivered within its genre, more so than most other modern genre attempts.6/10http://bobafett1138.blogspot.com/

Well, all in all, the worst horror movie ever. On the bright side, it is hands down the most hilarious movie I have ever experienced. My favorite parts: 1)Two hillbilly's who really don't have anything to do with the movie, other than having extreme anger issues, are shown peeing in the woods. The Tooth Fairy comes out of nowhere and cuts his manhood off. This goes against the fact that she is only supposed to kill children who have just lost a tooth, but instead she obviously gets a kick out of killing people with all of their adult teeth."Dude, why is your dick laying over there?" 2) The "tooth fairy" runs like she has a clubbed foot and severe mental retardation 3)The children think that this woman who has lived for years and is seemingly invincible, can be killed by beating her with sticks. This movie will give you a great laugh!

Good story, a sufficient amount of gore, interesting characters, and the requisite titties; all combine to make an enjoyable slasher film. It may not make the purist's Top Ten for the year, but it was worth the time. With over 100 roles, I should know Lochlyn Munro by now, but I kept thinking he could be Gary Busey's son. He did a credible, but not impressive job in this film. The real roles went to the three blondes.First up was veteran Carrie Fleming, who had me from hello. I spent the whole movie hoping to see more than teeth, and was rewarded in a bizarre scene where she and a wanna be rocker decide to get it on while his groupie (Sonya Salomaa) is in the next room nailed to a wall disemboweled, and another was on the front porch with a couple of dozen nails in her back. Just didn't seem to be the time for romance to me.Chandra West had the best role as the girlfriend of Munro. She really gave a good performance, especially tangling with the two hillbillies.P.J. Soles (Death by Engagement, The Devil's Rejects, Jawbreaker) played the woman next door that warned everyone about the Tooth Fairy.Nail guns, guts and other body parts on the ground, hatchets, a wood chipper, screams, and two beautiful titties. A good time.

Where to begin. This movie started out as something that seemed like a rip-off of "Darkness Falls". An old , disfigured woman living in the woods, giving kids presents for their teeth. Sound familiar? Then it changes. In "Darkness Falls", the tooth fairy only killed you if you saw her. The tooth fairy in this movie killed you no matter what. Why did they need the rocker, his hippie girlfriend or the Bubbas and their sister? I think the movie would've been fine without them. It seems like the producers sat around and decided that they needed to put extra people in the movie just so the tooth fairy would have people to kill. Although, it's nice to see a pretty blonde girl not being portrayed as a bubble-head for a change. Okay to rent, but I wouldn't suggest buying it.
