Samuel Peters (Edward Furlong), once an ordinary man, dabbles in the laws of voodoo to bring his wife back from the grave. He soon encounters the God of malevolence ‘Kalfu’ (Corey Feldman), and makes a pact with him to destroy the underworld and bring chaos to earth. In return, he will become ‘The Zombie King’ and walk the earth for eternity with his late wife. But, as the ever growing horde of zombies begins to completely wipe out a countryside town, the Government set-up a perimeter around the town and employ a shoot-on-sight policy. Trapped within the town, the locals, an unlikely bunch of misfits, must fight for their lives and unite in order to survive. Can our heroes unravel the clues in time and survive or will The Zombie King and his horde of zombies rise on the night of the dark moon?

Flyerplesys Perfectly adorable
filippaberry84 I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Kamila Bell This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Stephanie There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes
Michael Ledo The film starts out with zombies in the first clip. You don't know why they are there, unless you read the DVD by-line. It starts with three main characters, Boris (Michael Gamarano)a cowardly policeman who is still handing out parking tickets during the Apocalypse. There is also a milkman (David McClelland) and a man (George McCluskey) who learned survival skills in the service...the postal service. If you don't read the by-line you will know what caused the zombie outbreak 80 minutes into the film, although it does have a flashback subplot. Our core group is joined by others as most of the film, like most zombie films, is consumed by their traveling and killing zombies. The end was unexpected. The humor was hit and miss, with a few good scenes.Worth watching for those who like a little humor with their zombies.Parental Guide: F-bombs. No sex. Nude pictures hanging on wall.
Hardrockhallelujah666 Instead of 'The Zombie King' it should be called 'A couple of bumbling idiots walking around saying stupid things while being filmed'. That's all it is. The so-called Zombie King isn't even in the movie except for very brief flashes. The whooole thing focuses on a group of people walking around trying to stay far enough away from the 'zombies' they see to not be grabbed. They actually 'kill' zombies by throwing empty milk bottles at them. Come on! And talk about horrible acting from that group. Terribly boring. A complete waste of film, the money and time to make the film, and the time it takes someone to watch it. One of, if not thee, worst movie(s) I have ever had the displeasure of witnessing. Corey Feldman's Kalfu was the only decent thing in the movie and he was only in it for a total of maybe, maybe 2 minutes. Do yourself a favor, stay far away from this disaster.
kosmasp I guess this tries to be like Shaun of the Dead a little bit. Unfortunately it never really achieves those heights. Even more unfortunate is seeing Edward Furlong and what he has become (literally and metaphorically, in his career and in this movie). Once seen as something that could be a great actor, he can't even deliver (or maybe he doesn't bother to) in a movie like this. The character of munch might be the most fun one here, but overall there is a feeling of dread. There are subplots and some funny characters that work occasionally, but it doesn't add up. So while some jokes are funny others miss their mark completely, making this an odd experience. Not always in a good sense. You may try it, if you are into B-movies, but there is no guarantee you'll find it amusing
simonpcpearson The Zombie King is one of the worst films I have ever watched. There is no plot, no characterisation. Scenes seem to be presented in random order. There is a vast amount of clunky exposition to give the audience details of the scenes that were too expensive to shoot...which is everything that doesn't involve a handful of losers wandering about a field. Furlong appears for about 10 minutes..they play the scenes with his wife several times to make it seem like he's in the film longer. Failedman appears for 5 minutes with what appear to be cornflakes stuck on his face. The bald postman does a bad Clint Eastwood impression. The fat women thinks she is in the Benny Hill Show. The entire cast seem to be reading their lines off a card. Even among this staggering catalogue of incompetence Jon Campling as the alcoholic priest who knows all about voodoo and zombies stands out as a bad actor. He has no idea of how to convince as a drunk or a priest. Special mention must be made of the make-up for the zombies. There is none. The ending is the most shameless rip off of a George Romero film I've ever seen, made even worse by the obvious cheapness and lousy acting.
