This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

Toy Story is one of my favorite Disney movies and was thrilled to see this in theaters. I wasn't born when the first came out and the 2nd released when I was a year old, but before this released a double feature came out and we went to see it even though we had the movies on VHS. So when the 3rd movie came out, I was pumped. I loved it. Then I re-watched it with a friend when I was about 16(I was almost 12 when this released) and realized it was not as appealing. looking back, it was mainly for the potty humor."Watch out for puddles." "I don't think those were Lincoln Logs." The escape from the bathroom scene. So that's why I give it an 8. But it still is a good movie and it is definitely worth watching!Fun Fact: This was nominated for Best Picture. The only other animated films to get BP nominations are Beauty and the Beast(1991) and Up(2009).

This franchise is my childhood! I've grown up collecting the toys, watching the films and sneaking up on toys to see if they are alive. Unlike the Emoji movie this was not a way to advertise stuff although it very well could have. I cannot watch this movie without crying at the end (even adults do)! This is the best peice of art known to man! It will make you smile laugh and cry it's a thing for adults and children I mean how can someone not fall in love with Rex or Ham or slinkey or buzz or it goes on!! This is game changing film!

Toy Story 3 has a lot of important characters to know. First, there is Andy who is a high school graduate. Andy is voiced by John Morris. The main characters in the film are Woody, a cowboy, voiced by Tom Hanks., Buzz Lightyear, a space action figure, voiced by Tim Allen, Lotso, a giant teddy bear, voiced by Ned Beatty, and Ken, a doll, voiced by Michael Keaton. Other minor characters include Mr. Potato Head who is voiced by Don Rickles, Jessie, a cowgirl, who is voiced by Joan Cusack, and Rex, a dinosaur, voiced by Wallace Shawn. The movie, Toy Story 3, is about Andy and his toys. Andy, who is now a high school graduate getting ready to move on to his next chapter, college, is forced to clean out his room. While packing and separating his items, he places his toys in a trash bag meaning to place the toys up in the attic. While in the process of the transfer Andy gets a distraction from his little sister causing him to leave the toys laying by themselves. Andy's mom accidentally takes the toys away. The toys end up at a day care where they not only have to fight to return back to Andy but also to defeat Lotso the bear and his gang of other left behind toys. While Woody is on his own adventure he returns back to the gang to help save them from Lotso and helps returns the toys and himself back to Andy. Overall the movie has a lot of emotions for an animated film. It brings in a theme of the difficulties it is to move on from things that meant the most to you at a time in your life. Throughout the movie we see the theme appearing in a few scenes. To point out a few, we see the theme first appearing when Andy is packing the toys up. The toys are worried and hurt when they realize they have been placed with trash. The theme reappears in the movie when the viewers realize why Lotso the bear is the way he is which is because he can't let go that his recent owner, Daisy, has left him behind and moved on without him. As a viewer we can relate to the toys due to the angles the director uses. Editors and other film members has created the film in such an angle that we can better relate being small with the toys and the urge to hide when humans are around. The director also does a fantastic job using motif to consistently bring up how these toys have been left behind from their owners so viewers can emotionally become attached to the story line. Being a 22 year old college student I was able to really connect with this film. Not only did I grow up with the original Toy Story films but it felt realistic to me because not long ago did I have to clean out my room and decide what I wanted to do with all of my old belongings and toys. Great film, was really emotionally attached!
