Micitype Pretty Good
Neive Bellamy Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.
Portia Hilton Blistering performances.
Michelle Ridley The movie is wonderful and true, an act of love in all its contradictions and complexity
evelyncrows I was also pleasantly surprised! I enjoyed the plot twists and pace of the movie. I have always been a fan of Dean Cain. And if was very nice to see a large group of Canadian actors in the mix - Thea Gill, Gary Chalk, Stephan Rochfort, Dan Payne. I actually found this movie because I am a fan of Dan Payne from his Sci-Fi work and more recent comedy series 'Alice, I Think' which also stars Gary Chalk in an episode (in which he is brilliant!). So the IMDb is a great tool to help us viewers find good TV. I hope to see more quality MOW's from our Canadian stock! I believe that it was filmed in Vancouver but may have been Toronto. I hope US productions continue to find Canada as the perfect back drop for there films based on US cities. It shows off our beautiful country and stimulates our economy as well as gives us all a chance to ogle famous people in our own backyard. It seems that originality is getting to be a more and more difficult treasure to find. I am glad that the TV genre is still striving more than the Blockbusters to bring us a better viewing experience rather than the cookie cutter material we see the Tom Cruise efforts that chase the ever powerful buck!
whpratt1 Always like a film that starts out in an old cemetery where lost souls hang around and people sometimes wind up in trouble. That is what happens in this story, you see a young girl drive her car near an old cemetery, needing tender loving care and all of a sudden she speaks to a man through a fence and that is when the story really starts to get interesting. Jovanna Huguet,(Christie McDermott), gives a great performance as a TV reporter who manages to get deeply involved with the circumstances of this case and brings in many other great supporting actors. There are many twists and turns to the plot and you are kept pretty much in the dark as to what is really going on. I will tell you this, the film does return to that Old Cemetery and reveals some interesting secrets to this case. Enjoy
Burch Downman The Cast is: Stephanie Zimbalist, Thea Gill, Garry Chalk, Spencer Rochfort Stephen Lobo and Dean Caine. It was directed by Timohy bond. It's one of those made for TV movies that are very easy to miss. I discovered it looking for something else. I've been a fan of Stephanie Zimbalist for years. It was a much better movie than I had any right to expect. It had several clever twists and a really villainous thug. There was no romance that I could detect, but it didn't hurt the movie or the plot. The basic premise was believable and as always Stephanie Zimbalist gave an excellent performance. The movie had a somewhat surprising ending. It was very cleverly done.
g404c As I write this review there are no details on IMDb.com about the actors' names in the film, so I will go with my memory on this one. A Hollywood celebrity reporter (played by Thea Gill) teams up with her former college professor (played by Stephanie Zimbalist) in order to get some answers on the killing of a mutual friend. They are assisted in their investigation by a journalism student (played by Jovanna Huguet). As the women gradually uncover the "truth" about how and why their friend was killed, Gill and a cute cop (played by Spencer Rochfort) working on the case find themselves attracted to one another.Truth has many twists and turns and it is a fun movie to watch. The cast is credible, the plot is intriguing, and there are some great opening shots of Beverly Hills and Los Angeles. Dean Cain also stars.
