I was totally surprised at how great this film. You could feel your paranoia rise as the film went on and as you gradually learned the details of the real situation.

Two young couples decide to run away from home and go to Athens in order to find the exciting life that they couldn't live at the country. The guys get busted for robbing a gas station while the girls start working at a night club. Daisy meets a young and handsome man named Panos. He is a motorcycle racing driver. They immediately start a destructive relationship. Panos tastes his first joint with her and soon they become heroin-addicts, willing to do anything in order to get their daily fix. The film goes on describing their downfall until the apocalyptic ending. I Strofi is one of those rare Greek films that even on this day it's excellent in every way both shape and form. For example Panos Mihalopoulos gives one of the best performances of his Career especially the scene where he beats his mother was so shocking. The rest of the Cast is also great and i'm sure that back in 1982 this film made a big impression both in terms of talent, acting, direction and above all? The Story it self is entertaining and shocking. Overall this is a True Masterpiece and i wish that it got a higher score.

This is the stuff that legends are made of. This movie is so tragic that I feel like crying even though the last time I watched it was 10 years ago. The acting is simply superb. Panos Mixalopulos's finest moments. The prison scene where drug deprivation starts affecting him is just unmissable. All through the movie, he gets these flashbacks of himself riding a motorcycle and becoming a competitive rider. Amazing storytelling. The photography is truly spectacular. You'll get to visit exotic locations like the Greece-Turkey border and the customs office. You'll get to watch amazing action/chase sequences between the cops and Mixalopulos' motorbike. Steve McQueen would surely approve, this movie makes Bullit look feeble. Two thumbs up, another amazing effort by Dalianidis, the best comedy maker of modern cinema.

This second part of the trilogy made by Giannis Daliannidis,is focused on the corruption of the youth by drugs. Two boys and two girls, run away from home and go to Athens, because they want to live the beautiful life of the 80's.They start robbing, and one day, they get busted by the cops.Although, the girls start working on nightclubs, and Xaroula,(also called Daisy)(Lia Raka) meets Panos (Panos Mixalopoulos),and they start a relationship. But this relationship, makes Panos a drug-addicted man. When his money are over,he can't get his 'dose'!But some days later,a man who gives drugs to Panos, says him that he has a job for him.He says him that if he wants,he will go to Turkey and get some heroine! If he wants,he will have money and his drugs.Unfortunately,he accepts... Another great movie of the lost years of the 80's...It's another excellent film made by this much intelligent director called Giannis Daliannidis.
