A brilliant film that helped define a genre
Beystiman
It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.
Payno
I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

The subject of the film has failed two DNA tests and a fingerprint test. He can't speak English although he speaks fluent french (who was teaching him french in communist-era Vietnam?). He can't remember the names of his own children. Yet, the director thinks he's an MIA American. All we need to hear is he's a Nigerian prince with $22 million in gold. C'mon. The director fails to do some basic fact checking and instead blames a long series of failed tests and problems with the man's claims on some shadowy conspiracy.A movie short on facts and long on 1980s Hollywood-style conspiracy stories about MIAs. Don't waste your time.
