Limerculer A waste of 90 minutes of my life
Lucia Ayala It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
Kinley This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows
Roxie The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
rdoyle29 An American kick boxer visiting Thailand with his girlfriend loses her to a bunch of vampires and has to team with a group of friendly vampires and a vampire hunter (Patrick Bauchau) to get her back. This is positioned as a sequel to John Carpenter's "Vampires" ... but no, it really isn't. BUT ... it has kick boxing, vampires and kick boxing vampires, so really, what more can you ask?
Sluaghan MacDonald Man oh man, this was a piece of dog sh#t. I read a few reviews on here after seeing the case in the local video store, and thought to myself........ Ah this seems like a half decent movie.Vampires.Swords. Thailand.How can you go wrong? Right? No,no,no way f*cking wrong. Jesus, if only I could gouge out my eyes and not remember this film, I would be happy. The lead actor had THE whiniest, gayest voice ever.Man!It really was bad...."Amandaaaaaaaa....","I gotta save my girlfriend...." F*ck off! My buddy and I actually changed the Audio Track on the DVD to Portugese just so we didn't have to hear the guy's voice. Subtitles and all...and this IMPROVED the film. I'm serious, if your anything like me and wondered what this film was like..STOP WONDERING. I have the answer. WORST VAMPIRE MOVIE EVER! No good action, no good gore and only the smallest smattering of nudity. Just pure sh*t for 90 Mins. Don't rent this,buy it,think about it,or watch it at 3:00am. It just doesn't cut the cake......at all....in any way. F*ck this movie and watch All Anal 7: Real Deep Cover. You'd have a better time. I'm sure.
Homer Simpson This is an entertaining combination of Kung Fu and horror. The performances are decent and the action/fight scenes are well choreographed.The film moves along at a brisk pace. You won't be bored.There's very little sex or T&A, unfortunately, but I won't hold that against it.While no "Citizen Kane", This flick is way better than I initially thought it would be. It's a worthy diversion for an afternoon.With all the absolutely worthless crap that Hollywood releases nowadays, it's a shame this never got a wide (or any) theatrical release.It seems as if this was intended to be the first of a series. If that's the case, I'd definitely check out any sequels.
tonyjohnsonfl Throughout the history of Vampires and movies, there has always been an unspoken sensual,sexual tension that earlier movies could not, and more recent movies failed to really explore.This movie finally captures the true potential of that story line without at all being pornographic.In this Story line, Vampires seek out people they are attracted to, they bite them and take them back to their layer. They continue to keep them and drain them of blood until the person gives in and offers themselves to the vampire for sexual gratification. It is the sexual act itself that turns the victim into the vampire.In this movie, the vampires have a seductive quality that other Vampire flicks have eluded to. But here you see the struggle of the victims who are torn by their unexplained sexual desire to give in to the vampire and the resistance to becoming one themselves. If the victim continues to resist, eventually they are drained of blood and die. However, if they give in to the vampire and have sex with him/her, they are granted eternal life.That aside, it was an excellent film combining martial arts special effects with the Vampire story line. It was well acted and I enjoyed it.
