Admirable film.

One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

This looks like it was choreographed by a group of children playing war games. Mickey Rourke continues his tradition of signing on to movies that offer minimal screen time in return for a wage, whereby he arrives on set, appears to completely disregard any kind of script or appearance guidelines and carries on like a lunatic. In this case he's a cowboy hat wearing, long haired Colonel or something. It would be more convincing if he was a patient in a psych ward. The movie is just plain bad It's how I picture the cinematic endeavours of a group of war history buffs.

I have to say that I am not - repeat not - a Dolph Lundgren fan - not at all. In fact, I would usually say that his mere presence in any movie reduces it to a 5 of 10 - at best. However, in this case, he was pretty good. Maybe after some 30+ years he finally has gotten some acting chops. The movie overall was pretty well done and felt reasonably authentic. I'm glad I watched it, and it was entertaining and sometimes felt immersive.About the only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the pretty constant back-talking from the sergeant in the early parts (in front of the squad no less!). To me, it felt unrealistic that his commanding officers would let that stuff slide over and over - figuring that they would earn his trust over time. I guess they were trying to emphasize the struggle to turn this ragtag bunch into a cohesive unit.

Real garbage ..I don't know how films like this can be done..its a waste of time and money ...everything is forced nothing spontaneous...not a serious film nor a comic...nothing at all. They try to show us the Germans like dumb ass military, reasonable for films of the 50 and 60, and the protagonist like invincible heroes who avoid bullets and to be detected half a meter away. I don't know if the ideas gone away or there is a lack of new ones. Nowdays its hard to get an audience which is changing every time but with this kind of s**t, for me its better to search into the old ones, the ones with no CGI's and stuff like that, but much more credible

Disgraced WWII Army Captain, Jack Wosick, is given the opportunity for redemption when he is asked to lead a rag-tag group of misfits, who call themselves the War Pigs, on a top secret mission behind enemy lines to uncover and capture a Nazi super weapon, known as the V3 (a massive artillery canon). After watching the trailer for War Pigs, it seemed action-packed, dramatic, and often funny. It was, however, none of these things. The action scenes were highly unrealistic and at least one included a terrible CGI explosion. There were also several goofs that the producers missed prior to releasing the film.Despite the bad things about this film, the story was interesting and the acting was very decent.
