tdrish Good movie. I'm not knocking it. It's engrossing, it's rich in characters, it's just fun. Do you think we could have done without all the twists? At the time, it was just a sexy shocker, but once you were done watching it, the fun is over. Unless you were going to watch it again with someone else, just to see the shocked look on their face after one crazy twist is revealed after another, it just wasn't anything to write home about. Meaning, if you look back on it, you know you had a great time watching it, but when you look back on it, you can't deny that this is all very silly, very ridiculous, and just goes way too over the top. Story centers around a girl who accuses an older man of sexually assaulting her. From there, it just escalates into insanity, as the movie becomes more and more twisted, revealing more and more unbelievable twists and turns, that it gets to the point where by the time you are expecting the next twist, you're just thinking " GET THE (****) OUT OF HERE!" Bottom line: The movie lives up to its name. I would average this to be a 6.7 star film, I would love to round it off to 7, but certain factors that I cannot specify here, because it would ruin the film for you, I can only say that I am giving it 6 stars, as a few things dragged the rating down for me. ( After you're done watching, you will understand. Ending is satisfying, but....you will understand.)

kichdi I watched Wild Things, Wild things 2, Wild things 3 & Wild things foursome. I watched all 4 in one calendar day. All of them have almost identical story lines with the common factors being a detective following up on the very young crime suspects, all of them have girls as criminal masterminds, protagonist & villain actually being hand in glove. Both meeting each other + anybody who also happens to be in the scheme joining for a sexual threesome in all the movies before greed taking over their friendship / relationship. At least one person dies after the threesome. The detective who usually looks very sincere to the department till the middle of each movie is actually a player too. Sheer disrespect to elders & parents are part of the script in all the parts. The girls look gorgeous but each usurping the other, cheating, conning, murder & lies are shown in all the parts, Today's youngsters will be badly influenced to this muck. I do not know if the directors are same for all but Mandalay films are common. I must write there is no goodness or moral values at all in any of them. Cheap crappy movies are churned out just for polluting young minds in the form of movies by this production house. The only knowledge you can gain as a young mind by watching these crap is to cheat your elders, murder, fake murder, beat the system to escape with the loot. In all movies criminal wins, if it were 3 out of 4 or 2 of 2 it would have been okay but in all 4 deceit wins. This actually is like showing young minds to be a villain to be rich. Shame..

lamegabyte First of all, it's a great thriller because you can't guess a so twisty plot. Then it's interesting because for one time we have a movie that shows elite as lusty and corrupter instead of being our constant models! At last, we have the sex issues: indeed, it's a Hollywood production that features all tastes and mixes and one more time, we don't have the usual content as here it's very graphic! For sure, Denise Richards is really exciting with her greats tits and crazy curves: the pool scene was a favorite in the beginning of Internet! In a way, for me, this movie hunts on the same territory as Showgirls (same new level on nudity, Hollywood stars and dream not that so pure and angelic) and it's not a surprise that both Denise and Dillon would later work with Verhoeven because we find the same vibes.

John Doe This movie was really good, this is one of those 'who done it?' type of films that pays off really well. Both Neve Campbell and Deniese Richards play their parts extremely well, (although I think a College would have been better then a High School as both lead actresses were in their early and mid 20's when this was made) although Denise Richards steals the show lol. Matt Dillion plays a very good role too as Sam Lombardo. There are three sequels to Wild Things, but don't bother with any of them as they are all terrible. Wild Things has more plot twists and brain turners then a twisted pretzel (with cheese!) If you like films that make you think then you will like Wild Things. Oh, and be sure to get the Region 1 Unrated DVD, because it has a Japanese audio language track, which is awesome. I give Wild Things a 8/10.
