Colibel Terrible acting, screenplay and direction.
Blucher One of the worst movies I've ever seen
2hotFeature one of my absolute favorites!
Cassandra Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
Jazzy31133 I watched this movie when it first came out on Comedy Central several years ago and just rediscovered it again. It is a very funny and elaborate prank played on an aspiring actor named Perry. Perry is part of a comedy group known as the Big 3. The other members are Don Barris and another actor that goes by the screen name Mole. These two comedic actors "discovered" Perry at the comedy store in 1992 and have been messing with him ever since.I advise you to give the movie a chance. And if you enjoyed the high jinx in the movie, try listening to the Big 3 podcasts, where Don and Mole continue to mess around with Perry. As to whether or not the movie is "real" or not, I am not sure you need to have that question answered to enjoy the movie. However, I have listened to many of the podcasts and it seems pretty apparent Perry is not in on the joke. It seems as though he has a narcissistic personality disorder, is very gullible, and, rather unfortunately, has a low IQ. He was in a car accident as a teenager and this may have stripped him of some intelligence or he may have just had this personality disorder from birth. Either way, the result is hilarious. While the pranks and personal nature of the jokes Don and Mole pull could be viewed as cruel, Perry's racist, misogynistic and xenophobic behavior make the viewer OK with the pranks. If you give the movie a chance and enjoy the pranks, I suggest you give the podcasts a listen!
scaryperry Perry got into an Auto Accident on December 6th, 1979. Three weeks after he got his Drivers License. I was in a Coma and Hospitalized at Loma Linda University and woke on December 25th, 1979. His fathers birthday. He stayed in the Hospital until Febuary 23rd, 1980. September 4th 1983 Perry and his Mother moved to Costa Mesa, Ca. so Perry could attend Coastline Community College for the Tramaticly Head Injured. Then in Febuary 1988 Perry and his mother moved back to Tarzana to help Family matters. Now Perry works a day job for his Cousins at Master Graphics Printing in Reseda, Ca. and also helps his Aunt and Mother with Managing an Apartment Complex. I also do Extra Work on Film sets and so Stand Up Comedy. To include, to this, I also Host Rock Concerts and in the past have put on Rock Concerts and Booked Clubs from as far North as The Majestic Ventura Theater to as far South as The Couch House in San Juan Capistrano where I booked Opening acts for Leslie West's Band "Mountain."
theblueberrysix Previously I had thought that the highpoint of Bobcat Goldthwait's career was going to be Hot to Trot. Boy was I wrong. This is the funniest thing I've seen on TV for as far back as I can remember. I'm still laughing about it while I'm writing this. I was crying and punching my pillow and wishing someone else was watching it with me besides my dog at 4 in the morning. Now I don't want to build it up because then you might be let down. I know how people can say, this was SOOO funny then you go see it and you're like, it wasn't that funny. So...this wasn't that funny. But let's just say it was good enough to make me instantly look it up afterwards and get a membership on IMDb in order to leave a comment about how amazing it was. If anyone ever reads this...My God. This show. I can't believe it.
gilmourw I do not care about the arguments about whether this movie is authentic or not. It is freaking funny. It was by "accident" that I even saw this movie. It was a late night, and my girlfriend and I were snuggled up on the couch and channel surfing. I had never heard anything about this film before I stumbled upon it that night on Comedy Central. It has been a long, long time since I have laughed so hard. I won't spoil it by giving details, but the scene with the baseball bats almost killed me. I was laughing hard, and it kept getting FUNNIER! I could not stop laughing, and I was in pain! My girlfriend had to turn off the TV for a couple of minutes so I could regain my composure. If you have the chance to see this film, ignore all that you might have read about it being staged. It might be a fake, it might not be. But if you suspend all disbelief as you watch it, you will not be disappointed.THIS MOVIE NEEDS TO BE RELEASED ON DVD!
