This match was actually pretty decent. It started off a bit sloppy, but they managed to redeem themselves and produce a decent match. The Roadie's piledriver finish at the end was pretty cool too. **1/2King Mabel & Sir Mo Vs Razor Ramon & Savio VegaMabel and Mo win after Mabel pins Razor with a belly to belly suplex. This is a decent match, but I hated that Mabel got the win here. Mabel shouldn't have gotten the push that he did. There were more deserving people. **1/4Jeff Jarrett sings a song called "With My Baby Tonight. The real singer is actually The Roadie. It's a pretty catchy tune, believe it or not.Bam Bam Bigelow Vs Henry O. GodwinBam Bam wins. This was a hard-hitting match that turned out to be pretty mediocre. There were some big manuevers, it just lacked excitement. This was during Bam Bam's failed face run. *1/2Intercontinental ChampionshipJeff Jarrett (C) (W/The Roadie) Vs Shawn MichaelsShawn wins with the superkick. This is one of the greatest intercontinental title matches you'll ever see. Not only that, but it's extremely underrated. It's filled with great drama, suspense, and non-stop action. It's one of those matches that goes unnoticed by a lot of wrestling fans. If they do a list of top intercontinental title matches, this match deserves to be on it. Shawn was over like rover with the fans here.****1/2Dok Hendrix who sounds like he's on crack, claims Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie have had a falling out. Jeff Jarrett left the WWF for a while after this.Tag Team ChampionshipYokozuna & Owen Hart (C) (W/Jim Cornette & Mr. Fuji) Vs The Allied Powers (Lex Luger & The British Bulldog)Yokozuna and Owen retain after Yokozuna legdrops Luger. This match was average. With all due respect to Yokozuna, the pace quickened when he wasn't in the ring. Luger's star had fallen mightily in the WWF at this juncture. **WWF Championship (Lumberjack Match)Diesel (C) Vs Sycho Sid (W/Ted Dibiase)Diesel wins with a boot to the face. Well, at least this match was better than there first one at In Your House. That's not exactly a compliment. This match was still fairly ugly to watch. Sid was booked like a total idiot in this match. It would get worse because Diesel would feud with Mabel after this.*1/2 This PPV was barely above average. It featured some okay matches, including a dynamite match between Michaels and Jarrett. Like the first In Your House, the main event is pretty crappy, though. 5.3/10

bh_tafe3 In Your House continued its winning streak, with the second edition being another solid wrestling show, following a rather lackluster King of the Ring PPV. This was an entertaining card, rounded off with Diesel winning what may well be the only lumberjack match ever to close a PPV, closing out his rivalry with Psycho Sid and retaining the WWE Title.But first things first as The Roadie, long time friend of Jeff Jarrett took on the 1-2-3 Kid. They had a decent little opener, but of more interest to the fans was the disinterest being shown by Jarrett backstage. Jeff would be singing his new hit single later in the night and was busy preparing. The Roadie wrapped things up with a powerbomb and then a pretty funky looking pile driver to get the three.The next match came about as a result of the King of the Ring Final. Mabel had defeated Savio Vega in the final of the event. Vega had only gained entry into the tournament due to an injury to his good friend Razor Ramon. Ramon was now fit and healthy and teamed with Vega to take on the newly crowned King Mabel and his long time tag partner Sir Mo (Men on a Mission). Mabel won a forgettable match for his team by destroying Razor Ramon with an avalanche press followed by a belly to back suplex.Jeff Jarrett now made his way out to the ring to sing his hit single. But where was the Roadie? Singing the song while Jarrett Lip synced as it turned out.The next match between Henry O Godwinn and Bam Bam Bigelow was unlikely to rise to great heights, but had no chance after Henry blew out his knee attempting a knee drop from the second rope. The veteran Bigelow, who'd recently become a good guy after being assaulted by his former faction, the Million Dollar Corporation, capitalised on the injury to score a quick pin. Not an auspicious maiden PPV appearance for Henry O Godwinn.Here comes Jarrett again! This time he has the Roadie with him and is defending the Intercontinental Championship against Shawn Michaels. These two could both go (and arguably still can) and this is a good match, won by Michaels after the Roadie inadvertently tripped Jarrett into some Sweet Chin Music. Before the night was out Jarrett and the Roadie turned their backs on each other, ending their long time friendship. NOt exactly the end of an era, but a notable moment.Owen Hart and Yokozuna successfully defended the Tag Team Titles against the Allied Powers (Lex Luger and the British Bulldog) in the next match. Owen and Yokozuna were a fun heel tag team and they heeled their way to a win here in a good match. In the end Owen takes advantage of a referee distraction to hit Luger with a double axe handle from the top rope, knocking him out and getting the three count.The Main Event, as was probably always inevitable in a lumberjack match, was chaotic fun. And it was Diesel who triumphed over Psycho Sid to retain his WWE Title. King Mabel, who was scheduled to wrestle the winner at Summerslam, got involved, throwing Diesel into the steps. Both guys were beaten up by their opponent's lumberjacks. The turning point came when Sid hit a powerbomb, but elected to give high fives to his lumberjacks instead of going for the pin. Diesel kicked out and went on to win the match, thanks in no small way to his former friend Shawn Micheals, who hit a double axe handle off the top rope.This was a fun night with a satisfying finish. Diesel had won his feud with Sid and would now be moving onto Mabel, while, with Roadiue and Jarrett disintegrating, Shawn Micheals would have a new batch of enemies gunning for his IC Title.

BobbyUK Here are the matches . . .1-2-3 Kid v The Roadie: This is the return of a previously injured 1-2-3 Kid and he looks a little sloppy in this match as The Roadie had improved his game since King of the Ring 1995. Roadie finishes 1-2-3 Kid off with a piledriver from the top rope (he doesn't completely feel confident doing it but a gutsy move regardless). 4/10 Razor Ramon and Savio Vega v 'King' Mabel and 'Sir' Mo: Even now I am still having a hard time working out why Mabel of all people became King of the Ring. This match was to settle the aftermath of that event and, despite not being average, isn't as painful as I expected it to be. What is funny is watching Mo miss a moonsault he was never going to hit if Vega didn't move out of the way. In what I consider to be an upset, Mabel pins Razor Ramon after an avalanche and belly to belly suplex. 4/10 * Jeff Jarrett sings his country song and the commentators are suspicious of lip-synching by the end of the PPV. Jarrett is so desperate for heat it is unbelievable * 'Bam Bam' Bigelow v Henry Orpheus Godwin: Bam Bam has had his famous five minutes with the WWF and, despite the victory over Godwin, his days are numbered. Both miss moves off the top rope and, after an awful splash by Godwin, Bam Bam covers him for the pin. 4/10 Shawn Michaels v 'Double J' Jeff Jarrett: I never rated Jarrett because he had no ring presence and didn't know how to control the crowd, hoping his 'I'm the best wrestler and, whether you believe it or not that is the way it is' dialogue would excite people. However, in his defence, this is definitely Jarrett's best match in the WWF and he works well with Shawn Michaels though he is not particularly imaginative with his reversals, preferring to punch his way out of everything. The fact that Shawn can carry Jarrett through a match like this shows how good he is. What is funny about this match, scripted or not, is Vince McMahon's microphone goes off and Jerry Lawler continues on his own, laughing at Vince for a minute or so. The match ends after Roadie, believing Shawn was going to be Irish-whipped, blindly trips up Jarrett as Shawn reverses it. Jarrett, distracted by the move, gets pinned by Shawn and it would be some time before we see both 'Double J' and Roadie again. 8/10 Allied Forces (Lex Luger and British Bulldog) v Owen Hart and Yokozuna: After a typical xenophobic start, the match gets under way and, unfortunately, is only half decent when Bulldog and Owen are in the ring. Yokozuna has a weight problem and Luger realises his time is up with the WWF as he makes his way to WCW shortly after this so puts in a lazy performance. The WWF also realise Luger's time as 'Hulk Hogan Mark II' has come to a pitiful end so they let Yokozuna drop the leg on him for the pin. 4/10 Diesel v 'Psycho' Sid for the World title in a 'Lumberjack' match: This is a proper lumberjack match where 15 'friends' of each wrestler hang around the outside. If a wrestler goes out of the ring, he gets beaten up and thrown back in again which made for some mad brawling on the outside on some occasions. However, despite it all, the wrestling inside the ring is shockingly awful and ends when Diesel hits a badly executed big boot (the boot makes no contact with Sid's face at all) for the pin - how lazy can Diesel get? Even Hulk Hogan followed a boot with a leg drop. The face lumberjacks try to get positive heat for Diesel but the crowd are losing sympathy with him as the months pass. 4/10 There were two exclusive matches after the PPV (Bret Hart v Jean Pierre Lafitte and Undertaker v Kama in a casket match). The commentary is with Gorilla Monsoon and Stan Lane and they both add a nice relaxed air to the proceedings. Bret Hart carried Jean Pierre Laffitte to a 6/10 match beating him with a victory-roll pinfall and the Undertaker puts Kama in the casket for an under-average 3/10.Overall, one match saves the PPV from becoming...Well...The same as In Your House 1 really.
