I gave this film a 9 out of 10, because it was exactly what I expected it to be.

Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.

Summerslam went international in 1992, with a very good card brought to us from Webley Stadium in England. The big story going in was the continuing feud between WWE Champion Randy Savage and Ric Flair. Flair had been snubbed here, with The Ultimate Warrior getting a title shot instead, but Flair had promised to get involved, with his stooge Mr Perfect to come out and aid the highest bidder. But the big story going into the match was the temporary disintegration of the Hart family as Intercontinental Champion Bret Hart put his title on the line against his brother in law the British Bulldog. The event kicked off with the Legion of Doom (Hawk and Animal) defeating Money Inc (Ted DiBiase and Irwin R Shyster) in a good opener. The LOD controlled most of the match, and were about to put DiBiase away with the Doomsday Device, only for IRS to interfere, he ran into DiBiase however and Animal was able to score a powerbomb on Ted and get the pin.We then get some backstage interviews, the first one is with Ric Flair talking to Mean Gene about Mr Perfect's involvement in the title match later in the night and then Sean Mooney interviews Virgil. Following this big monster bad guy Nailz destroyed Virgil in a short match.Next we get Lord Alfred Hayes with a special update on the title match later, then Mean Gene's back taking to Sensational Sherri, who is putting her services on the line in the next match with Shawn MIchaels taking on Rick Martel. The story here is they can't hit each other in the face. Anyway, they break that rule and Sherri pretends to faint. Michaels and Martel argue about who's going to carry her backstage. In the end they both get counted out and leave her there.Next up the Natural Disasters (Earthquake and Typhoon) defeated The Beverly Brothers (Beau and Blake) to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships. Not much to it. This was followed by Crush defeating The Repo Man very decisively in a very short match.Next up came one of the best matches seen at Summerslam as the Ultimate Warrior defeated Randy Savage by DQ after Mr Perfect interfered. This was an excellent back and forth match, with the ending taking little away form it. Perfect had not actually been brought by Savage, it was part of Flair's plan as they attacked Savage at the end of the fight, Warrior eventually helped Savage and they walked to the back together.Next up The Undertaker defeated evil monster Kamala by DQ in a pretty dull match with a bad ending. Undertaker got smashed in the back of the head just as he hit the tombstone piledriver and so won by DQ.Next up The Vritish Bulldog, Bret Hart and Diana Hart Smith (BUlldog's wife) are all interviewed about the upcoming main event. And then the big match came as home town boy the British Bulldog defeated Bret Hart to win the Intercontinental Championship in one of the best matches ever to take place in the WWE. Apparently Davey Boy was completely out of it most of the match and Hart had t talk him through the whole thing. If that's true this match is even more remarkable than it appears. THe crowd is at fever pitch in the closing stages and a huge roar at the end for Smith's victory. So this is a great PPV, but a pointless one. Flair would beat Savage for the title a little while later, but lost the title to Hart just as quickly. British Bulldog quickly lost the Intercontinental title to Shawn Michaels and The Ultimate Warrior would soon be gone from the WWE altogether. And no other major WWE PPV was ever held again in England. S

This Summerslam wasn't just your ordinary Summerslam. Firstly it was held in London, England - Wembley Stadium to be exact, and rather then have the main event as a World Heavyweight Championship match, McMahon changed this to the Intercontinental Championship. Some matches on the card were just thrown together to kill time, but it was a very good PPV anyway. Results from the show which was seen in front of an incredible 80,000 fans: 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan and The Bushwackers defeated The Mountie and The Nasty Boys in a fair match.Papa Shango defeated Tito Santana in a boring match. The Legion of Doom defeated Money Inc.Nailz (Kevin Wacholz) defeated Virgil in a useless match.Rick Martel and Shawn Michaels ended in a double count out. This was a very entertaining match. The Natural Disasters defeated The Beverly Brothers in a passable match.Crush defeated Repo Man (Barry Darsow) in a good match. The Ultimate Warrior defeated 'Macho Man' Randy Savage via count out in a fair but too long match.Tatanka defeated The Bezerker in a useless match. The Undertaker defeated Kamala via DQ when Kim Chee (Steve Lombardi) hit Taker with a foreign object. After the match Kamala was looking at the Undertaker down the ramp when he fell over! Silly twit! The British Bulldog defeated Bret 'hitman' Hart to win the IC title to a thunderous pop.A very good PPV indeed! Overall Grade - A

More than 60,000 fans packed Wembley Stadium in London, England, as SummerSlam went international! For the first time in the history of the event, Hulk Hogan did not headline or co-headline a SummerSlam. But that meant little to nearly 60,000 fans that packed Wembley Stadium to cheer their countryman, the British Bulldog, in his attempt to defeat his brother-in-law, Bret `Hitman' Hart, for the Intercontinental Championship. The match was emotional - Hart's sister and the Bulldog's wife, Diana, sat ringside - but one of the greatest in SummerSlam history. And Wembley Stadium erupted when the Bulldog countered Hart's victory roll to pin the Hitman and capture the Intercontinental Title. SummerSlam 1992 also featured a WWE Championship match between champion Randy `Macho Man' Savage and the Ultimate Warrior. The Warrior defeated Savage by countout, but it was simply Plan A of a plot by Ric Flair and Mr. Perfect to eventually wrest the championship away from Savage and back around the waist of Flair. The Legion of Doom defeated Money Inc. Nailz defeated Virgil Shawn Michaels and Rick Martel battled to a double countout Tag Team Champions The Natural Disasters defeated the Beverly Brothers Crush defeated Repo-Man WWE Champion The Ultimate Warrior defeated Randy Savage by countout The Undertaker defeated Kamala by DQ The British Bulldog pinned Bret Hart to win the Intercontinental ChampionshipOverall Mark: C+

At that point in time SummerSlam '92 was the first Pay-Per-View event to be held outside North America-and it was a hit just like WrestleMania VI which had been held in Canada.SummerSlam '92 took place outdoors and it was an entertaining event with a few good matches. In fact, all the matches were good in their own way and the wrestlers seemed to be having fun.(SPOILERS AHEAD)There was a double main event. The Ultimate Warrior faced Macho Man Randy Savage in one of their strongest matches. The only drawback was that outside interference cost us the chance to find out who was the better man.In the main event Bret Hart defended his Intercontinental Title against the British Bulldog. This was twenty plus minutes of exciting action in which Bret and the Bulldog went all out for victory. This match would rank on a top ten list of the greatest WWF matches ever-it really was that good. The Bulldog took the title fairly which was a rarity back in 1992.I may be wrong but I believe this video is the most successful WWF video ever released in the UK. It certainly deserves to be!
